The Watergardens apartments overlook the Ocean Village complex with its casino, bars and restaurants and there is a public car park a short walk away. Free buses go from outside Watergardens to all over Gibraltar and its beaches, and the shops of Main Street are a mere five minute walk.
The Rock of Gibraltar region
You cannot have a holiday in Gibraltar without visiting the Rock, the apes den and St Michael's Cave. All the taxis can do tours up the Rock but you can also walk to the Alameda Gardens and go up on the cable car. Gibraltar is of course steeped in history and the museum and Trafalgar Cemetery are places of great interest. There are of course wonderful beaches around the Rock, Eastern Beach and Catalan Bay are two of the most popular and free buses go there from outside Watergardens.
The Waterport area
There are so many restaurants in Gibraltar, too many to name but notable ones, apart from all the eateries in Ocean Village are Cafe Roja in Irish Town, The Waterfront and The Boatyard in Queensway Quay, Bianca's and Charlies in Marina Bay and of course Gauchos close to Watergardens. Dolphin watching if a favourite past-
time in Gibraltar with a few dolphin boats leaving both Ocean Village and Marina Bay daily.

Gibraltar has several airlines coming in on a daily basis. Monarch, British Airways, BMIbaby and Easyjet come in from various cities throughout the UK. Regional airports also have flights to Malaga where you can collect a hire car and drive down the toll road with approx. one and a half hours.

I rented this apartment with my wife and teenage daughter for 3 weeks over xmas and new year. It is located within short walking distance to the centre of town, the airport, Morrisons, the bus station, Spain, pubs, eating places....everything you want really.
The apartment is clean, well maintained, comfortable and spacious. TV is provided with UK and sky channels, wifi also provided (it's nice to get away and still have the home comforts) .
I've rented apartments through Jackie Hobbs for the past two years and found the service and support she provides to be friendly, non intrusive and of a very high standard. Would recommend and would be happy to book again.

we rented this holiday flat to visit family in gibralter.The service from paying the deposit,to walking into the property was excellent,no hard to find owners or keys etc.The flat is spacious,excellent kitchen and comfy beds etc .Our stay was in early september,so still very hot,into the nineties some days,although there is no air-con,with the breeze on the fourth floor we had no problems overheating.The rear balcony overlooks the harbour, with all the excellent amenities on demand,loads of good restaurants,with tastes for all.Car parking is a problem for everyone on the rock,we had a blue badge for a member of our family,so we were ok,and the two lifts in the block were essential for us,so car parking can be a pain.But everything we needed was well within a short walk ,town centre, local shops, takeaways,etc, we even splashed out a tenner at the casino,(which also does a very good meal) We have booked again.
