Historic interests in the area include Duncannon Fort, Tintern Abbey, Bannow Bay, Hill-walking at Comeraghs and Blackstairs Mountains, Hook Lighthouse and the Dunbrody Famine Ship. Duncannon is an ideal place to view the Tall Ships Race 30th June - 3rd July 2011.
