'The Manor' is an ideal 5 berth (designated 6 berth) Willerby caravan which has two bedrooms and is 35' long x 12' foot wide - a 'real home from home', fully central heated and double glazed throughout. The caravan occupies a position close to all the amenities, looking out over the site towards the sea, with far reaching views of Minehead and the Welsh coastline, enjoying beautiful sunsets of an evening.
The Park facilities include Convenience Store with Off-Licence; Gift Shop and Launderette.
The Park has a wide variety of facilities, which you can make full use of if you purchase a 'Fun Pass'. These cost , for 7 nights, £24.50 per adult and £12.75 per child 'peak season' and £19.00 per adult and £10.00 per child 'off peak' season. They are not included in the price of hiring 'The Manor' , but we can arrange for these, should you wish. Alternatively, these can be purchased separately, on arrival at the Park.
The facilities include Clubhouse; Show Bar with Cafe Bar and grill menu; Indian/Carvery theme nights; Fish and Chip Shop; Amusement Arcade; mini 10 pin bowling; pool tables; games room; heated indoor pool with many varied water activities; heated outdoor plunge pool with 4-lane waterslide (outdoor pool in high season); all-weather outdoor Sports Court; indoor Fun Palace; go-karting, crazy-golf, tennis court, bike hire, sports coaching. The West Country / Somerset region
The 'Manor' caravan is situated at Haven's Doniford Bay site, close to Watchet and Minehead, on the edge of the picturesque Quantock Hills. The Exmoor National Park is within a 20 minute drive of the site. The resorts of Combe Martin, Lynton and Lynmouth can be reached quite easily along the A39 coastal route with its funicular cliff railway being a real treat with its far reaching views out to sea. Walkers will love the stunning quiet walks to and from Watersmeet.. The historic town of Taunton is approximately 25 minutes away. Bridgwater is about 20 minutes away. Go further afield and you can visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole with its famous caves, Weston-Super Mare and for those bargain hunters - 'Clark's Village' is a must!
Watchet area
The West Somerset Steam Railway offers you 20 miles of Somerset's finest scenery from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. There is a stop at Doniford Halt just a short walk away from the Park. Money saving 'Family Rover' tickets are available, so you can spend the entire day hopping on and off and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Watchet is a quaint harbour town, a short distance from the Park.
Dunster Castle and medieval village, which are referenced in the Doomsday Book, is also nearby.
There is direct access to the beach from the Park, or you could always go fossil hunting at Kilve Beach, or visit nearby Blue Anchor with its long sandy beach.
Minehead has a fine ornamental park, off Blenheim Road (Blenheim Gardens); and the Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club, Somerset's oldest golf club, established in 1882. There are a variety of sailing and wind surfing options, in addition to the usual beach activities. In addition, there are many amusement arcades and a variety of well-known high street stores; together with independent local shops. There is also a Tesco supermarket situated on the outskirts of Minehead. The town is the starting point of the South West Coast Path National Trail, the nation's longest long-distance countryside walking trail. You could always spend a day at Butlins and you can get reduced price day passes from Doniford Bay reception.
Somerset is a haven for walkers with over 1,100 miles of paths and tracks. It is alive with history and legend; walk in the footsteps of King Arthur and King Alfred; home of Lorna Doone and visit the mysterious Glastonbury Tor, which rises out of the Somerset Levels (ancient wetlands) like a beacon. For long distance walking, the Coleridge Way, linking the Quantock Hills with Exmoor uses Breedon Hills as 'the bridge' between the two areas. This 36 mile route ends at Porlock, the picturesque village famous for its hill.
Farmer's Markets take place at Lynton on the 1st Saturday of the month; Dulverton on the 4th Friday of the month; Minehead every Friday, Williton every Friday and Watchet every Wednesday.
Cycle hire shops can be found in Minehead and Porlock.
Wimbleball Reservoir is a hidden gem with 385 acres of water set in stunning scenery. Windsurfing and sailing takes place there and dinghies can be hired.
How to get there
By car, take J23 off the M5 south of Bristol onto the A38 towards Bridgwater. From Bridgwater, take the A39 towards Minehead. After about 15 miles at West Quantoxhead, fork right after St. Audries garage. The park is a mile further on the right.

Further details indoors: SITTING ROOM The sitting room is fully carpeted with comfortable seating with sea views from the bay window. An automatic fold-out bed is incorporated into the seating. There is a gas fire, Colour TV with Freeview, DVD & CD player.
DINING AREA - ADJOINING THE SITTING ROOM Circular dining table and four chairs. Additional fold-a-way chairs, if required, are stored in the twin bedroom. Patio door leading outside.
KITCHEN Fully equipped kitchen with full-size gas cooker, oven and grill; with extractor fan over. Microwave oven. Full sized larder fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and integrated ironing board.
MAIN BATHROOM Fully fitted bathroom with wc, whb and double width shower unit with high pressure shower.
DOUBLE BEDROOM WITH EN SUITE KING SIZE bed, large wardrobe with integral drawers, bed surround incorporating further cupboard space, wc and whb to en suite.
