Mill Cottage is situated over 2 floors. Enter the cottage through the kitchen door. The kitchen is large with an Island and bar stools around. It is fully equipped with large electric oven and convection hob, dishwasher, large american style fridge freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser. There is a dining table and seating for 10 and sofas for relaxing around the large wood burning stove. There is a further set of doors leading to the rear garden which backs onto a stream which runs into the River Irt.
From the kitchen you enter the lounge with TV and DVD player as well as a further woodburning stove and decorative traditional fire place.
You step up into the utility room which has a sink, washing machine, tumble drier and leading off from here is a WC.
From the lounge you then climb the stairs to the first floor of this side of the cottage where there is a double room, twin bedroom and shower room.
Back into the kitchen and through into the hallway where there is a door into the snug room which has a TV and Nintendo Wii, sofa and bean bags.
Stairs to the first floor of this side of the cottage also lead off the hallway where you will find the Super King-size bedroom which has an en-suite shower room with basin and WC. There is also a double and twin room on this floor with a family bathroom which has a shower enclosure, basin, WC and stunning Roll Top bath ideal for a long soak after a hard days walking.
The Cumbria/Lake District region
The Lake District offers more than just the stunning scenery that is on offer. The beautiful lakes with dramatic fells rising from there shores are just part of a great experience of excellent local food and fantastic activities that can make a holiday here live long in the memory and get you coming back for more.
The Wasdale area
Wasdale has Englands highest mountain, Scafell Pike, deepest lake, Wastwater and one of it's smallest churches, St Olaf's. There is also the valleys of Eskdale and Ennerdale within easy reach as well as the coast. Activities include, outdoor pursuits (climbing, canoeing and ghyll scrabbling), there is the Eskdale to Ravengalss miniture steam railway and Muncaster Castle with its beautiful gardens and owl centre.

From the South
* Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 for Kendal/Lakes.
* Follow signs to Barrow (A590).
* Turn right to Workington (A5092)
* Follow the coastal road (A595) through Bootle & Waberthwaite
* Go past Ravenglass and after a couple of miles turn right towards Santon Bridge (just before the Esso garage on the left)
* Make your way to Santon Bridge
