Extra cots are a possibility in the three double rooms but camp beds would be a tight fit. The twin room could accommodate an extra bed and the single has a small pull out bed making this a child's twin. There is bed space for 9 adults but numerous children could be fitted in as well. The cottage is a remarkably spacious family house and absorbs large numbers comfortably. As well as a kitchen table and formal dining table there is a small conservatory which can be used as a children's dining area. All rooms have Freeview television with DVD.

The West Country region
Rose Cottage is situated on the Jurassic Coastal Footpath. The Jurassic Coast is a Unesco World Heritage Site rich in geology. It is the most spectacular stretch of coast with undulating white cliffs and hidden bays. The beaches of St. Oswalds, Mon o' War and Durdle Door are within walking distance of Lulworth Cove which is the most accessible of all the beaches. Lulworth Cove beach is a mixture of grit and stone with safe shallow swimming and an abundance of rock pools to explore. Lulworth Cove has its own fishing boats and fresh Lobsters and Crabs are a feature of the Sea View Restaurant at Cromwell House Hotel.
10 miles from the Market Town of Wareham, Lulworth Cove with its perfectly scalloped shape, is a world famous landmark in the heart of the Jurassic Coast. Other places of interest in the locality are Corfe Castle, the Swanage Steam Railway, Swanage and Weymouth, traditional Seaside Towns with many attractions, the Tank Museum at Bovington Camp and of course the now famous Monkey World. Bird lovers will find us well situated for the RSPB reserves at Arne, Radipole Lake and Studland Heath. The coastal walks are rich in Wild Flowers and Butterflies, This is an ideal location for photography and painting.
