One twin beds) 2 bathroom cottage with all the luxuries of a modern home, and yet maintaining its original oak beams, vaulted ceilings and light gallery. Relax in style in the beautifully appointed living room, snuggle up with a good book by the log burning stove, enjoy a bubble bath in the fabulous italian design bathroom or even a glass of wine and your favourite programme in front of the 50' TV! This is a wonderful venue for couples, friends or families. Please note we do not have garden access at the cottage.

Only 20 minutes drive from London this property is situated in the heart of the village of Waltham St Lawrence. Within the curtelage of the Grade II listed house Tuckenhams. Enjoy the views of the village church and the 16th century village pub The Bell, where an informal atmosphere, excellent food and local beer await you. Start your day with a long walk from the property, perhaps through the grounds of the Shottesbrooke estate and return to the Bell for a lunch time drink. There are many walks in this area to be enjoyed and many lovely pubs along your route.
Spend the day in Royal Windsor with a visit to Windsor castle and the many exhibitions on show there. www.royalcollection.org.uk and enjoy the changing of the guard daily (call 01753 831118 for times). Plan a weekend stay at The Wheelrights to coincide with the opening of Frogmore House, the Queen mothers former residence. 17th-18th August. We are also only 15 minutes from Legoland Windsor, where hours of fun await you, check out the website on www.legoland.co.uk.
A day spent in Henley on Thames is a must, take a stroll along the river Thames, enjoy lunch at The Hotel de Vin or Loch Fine and finish with a visit to the famous Rowing Museum. Waltham St Lawrence
We are only 20 minutes from the lovely town of Marlow. Situated on the Thames it boasts many great shops and restaurants.
Why not take afternoon tea at the famous Complete Angler hotel, its a must! take a table by the river and watch the world go by!
Enjoy a wonderful meal at the michelin starred Hand and Flowers www.handandflowers.co.uk or the delightful Vanilla Pod, www.vanillapod.co.uk.
Are you a race goer, why not combine a stay with Royal Ascot, 18th - 22nd June 2013. Enjoy a day of racing and return to the luxury of the Wheelwrights.
Top of the list has to be a stay at the Wheelwrights while enjoying the delights of the tasting menu of Heston Blumenthal's michelin starred restaurant The Fat Duck at Bray a mere 15 minutes drive - take a taxI! alternatively The Waterside Inn, Michelle Roux's (OBE) 3 star restaurant is wonderful for that special occasion. The only restaurant to have a 3 star rating for 25 years.!
The list can go on for a lot longer but why not book the Wheelwrights and enjoy staying just for the joy of staying in a wonderful place!!
