House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
A modern comfortable detached home in a quiet residential area conveniently sited only 5 minutes' walk from the town centre. The town offers a wide selection of places to eat, pubs, shops and a cinema so there is no need to use your car in the evening.
The Camel Trail is only just over 5 minutes' walk down the hill and provides a level walk beside the picturesque river Camel to Padstow (4 miles) or up river to Bodmin and Dunmere Woods in the other direction. Alternatively why not explore by bike, which can be hired at the entrance to the Trail. The Royal County Showground, which hosts a number of events throughout the year (not least the County Show in June) is also within easy walking distance.
As the town has the first bridge over the Camel estuary this means that within 5-10 miles' drive, you have the choice of a number of glorious sandy surfing beaches including Harlyn and Constantine Bay on the Padstow side of the river or Polzeath, near Rock, on the other side of the river. Wadebridge is situated off the A39 and so a number of historic houses, beautiful gardens and the Eden Project are easily accessible.

The West Country region
Once known as a thriving market town in the days when livestock were sold here, Wadebridge is now better known for its arts and crafts shops and a wide variety of independent retailers, meaning it stands out from many modern high streets these days!
Wadebridge makes an excellent base for exploring the natural beauty of North Cornwall and is also a gateway to the Camel Trail, 17 miles of traffic free walking, cycling and horse riding. Set alongside the river Camel, the town affords a range of activities and places to see - from historic houses to adventure parks - ensuring that all ages are catered for.
There is a great selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs and takeaways, serving a range of regional and international dishes so whatever your preference, you'll be spoilt for choice. If you're looking for a quality bottle of wine to go with a quiet meal at your holiday cottage, Wadebridge Wines are an excellent place to go (and you can get a 10% discount with your Privilege Card!).
For those who want to try something a little more active, you can have a go at sailing or other watersports, cricket, tennis, golf and bowls. There is also a leisure centre, with facilities including a swimming pool. If you need to relax and pamper yourself after your exertions, try the River Spa in the town centre, and again benefit from a 10% discount using your Privilege Card!
