This lovely semi-detached cottage is situated in one of Cornwall's most popular areas and is a few minutes from the village of Rock, a haven for watersports such as sailing, rowing and water skiing.
Enjoy a small trip, via a foot ferry, across the estuary to the bustling fishing village of Padstow with its array of galleries, shops and Rick Stein restaurants. Directly outside the property is a footpath which meanders down to the superb sandy beaches of Polzeath, approximately 1 mile, or a few minutes drive takes you to Daymer Bay which is excellent for families. The Camel Trail, popular with walkers and cyclists, is 15 minutes drive at Wadebridge and from here you can follow the estuary to Padstow or take the woodland trail to Bodmin. Explore the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac and Tintagel, famous for its Arthurian Legends or visit many attractions within driving distance; Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay Sealife Centre and Crealy Adventure Park. In the evenings stroll to the local family pub serving good food.
The accommodation has been tastefully furnished with original features such as slate floors and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with countryside views and 1 twin. Bathroom: tiled with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with TV, DVD, hi-fi and electric fire. Kitchen/diner: with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and farmhouse style dining table. Laundry facilities by arrangement. Outdoor: nice garden area with seating. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, hair dryer, electric and central heating included. Towels available for hire. Central heating surcharge of £15 per week from September - end of April, payable direct to the owner. Wi-fi available. 1 dog by arrangement. Regret no smoking. Location: beach, shops and restaurants 1.5 miles, pub walking distance. Arrival: 4pm.
