Bungalow | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Our bungalow offers you a very spacious holiday home for up to 6 people in 4 bedrooms, situated in the traditional Cornish village of St Mabyn. Excellent value for a summer stay!
Our house has a good sized level garden which is fully enclosed, and is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac which makes it ideal for young families. Many visitors comment on the quiet they experience here, and a peaceful stay is assured with a variety of activities within easy reach; walking n the moor or the coastal path, cycling, surfing or playing on the beautiful beaches.
The house offers plenty of room for a family holiday; there are four good sized bedrooms as shown in the photographs. It is difficult to get a proper impression form photos so here are the dimensions of each room.
Bedroom 1 has a single bed and measures 4.3m x 2.5m. It contains a desk and a wardrobe which contains drawers.
Bedroom 2 is the main bedroom, with a king-size bed, a dressing table and a chest of drawers. It measures 3m x 4.5m.
Bedroom 3 is smaller but contains a double bed, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers as well as a small dresser. It measures 2.7m x 3.6 m and looks out onto the back garden.
Bedroom 4 is the largest room measuring 4.3m x 4.8m. It has 2 large windows and a glazed door leading onto the rear garden. In this room is a small table, a chest of drawers and a television and DVD player. This room features 2 comfortable single beds. (These can be fitted together to form a super-king size bed if this should be required)
All beds are fitted with top quality duvets, pillows and bed-linen. Towels are also provided for all guests.
We also offer a good size lounge (6m x 3.6m)with three double sofas; this room also has a well-stocked set of bookshelves, a TV with BT Vison and a DVD player, and there are a variety of games for the family. We can also leave a variety of children's toys in the house to entertain the children.
There is also a modern kitchen/diner with electric oven, hob, micro-wave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. This room is L shaped and measures 6.4m x 5m on the longer sides. It features double doors that lead onto the patio in the rear garden.
At the front of the house is a gravel driveway with space for 2 or even 3 cars to be parked. There is a garage where your wet suits, surfboards, etc can be stored.
Finally we have a bathroom and a shower room with a larger than average shower. Both rooms contain a loo and a basin.
Please note that two cats normally live in the house. They will be housed elsewhere for the duration of your stay. However, if you would be happy to have their company, in return for feeding them twice a day we would be happy to offer £80 per week "cashback" . Please let us know if you would be happy to share the house with two very affectionate and entertaining pets!

The West Country region
We are situated in the traditional Cornish village of St.Mabyn, a few miles from the coast, and are thus a short drive away from some of the busier coastal destinations. The historic village of Port Isaac and the surfing beach of Polzeath are both some 15 minutes' drive away, and the magnificent rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor can be reached in a similar time. Closer still is the inland end of the Camel Trail which allows safe and easy cycling or walking through woodland, beside the river Camel, to the delightful market town of Wadebridge and then via the famous Camel Estuary to Padstow. In the village you will find a handy shop and Post Office, a park, and also a welcoming and friendly pub and Restaurant.
Cornwall is one of the prime holiday destinations in the country, with tremendous attractions such as the famous Eden Project and a number of magnificent gardens and houses to visit, many of them maintained by the National Trust. There are many places for children to enjoy, including Crealy's adventure park which is about 15 minutes drive away. Harbour towns such as Fowey, Padstow, and even Falmouth are within easy reach. Active people can enjoy surfing, walking, cycling, and any number of more adventurous sports at locations throughout the county.
