Thea & Pia Villas, a luxury holiday homes in Greece, are built with care and such attention to the details that will make your stay feel like a fairytale; The luxurious-contemporary features are only underlining the romantic and warm atmosphere, that so gracefully connects the interior and the exterior of the properties.

The natural environment of Pelio that combines the colours and energies of both, the mountain and the sea, was selected as a place of profound beauty and serenity since the ancient times.

A long walk under the trees, a swim at the emerald waters of Pelio, a feast with friends -tasting the traditional flavors of the area, relaxation in front of the fireplace and a hot hydro-massage at the end of the day, will give a new dimension to the term “quality time”.

Thea & Pia Villas consists of two houses that can be unified in one by an intercommunicating door providing a unique place to host a big family or a group of friends up to 12 persons. The properties are an exclusive and luxury holiday homes and vacation rental located in the absolute heart of the majestic mountain of Pelion in Tsagkarada village.

Tsagkarada village is one of the most beautiful villages in Greece (and one of our favourites!). It is in 450 meters high, it is a 12 months destination. The closest ski center is 35 km and the closest beach is Mylopotamos beach in 8km.

The villa is also available for weddings, christenings, parties – exhibitions, etc.

The main house was originally built in 1863 and later on in 1978 the villa had been awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Civilization. In 2010 it was fully renovated to the last detail and it is now a rare find to any holiday home/villa vacationist.

Thea Villa is the master villa of the complex in two levels covering a surface of 200 sq. meters in total. The ground level consists of the dining room, the spacious living room and the kitchen. The ground floor is nicely decorated with traditional furniture where we find the main fireplace of the villa and the library with a rich variety of books. A traditional wooden staircase, made of local chestnut tree, takes you to the upper level of the villa where we find the master bedroom with its own private bathroom, two more bedrooms and one bathroom. The upper level is tastefully decorated with authentic antiques and paintings creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The clue of this level is the small balcony with the magnificent view all the way to the Aegean sea through the wild green forest embracing the villa and the whole village of Tsagkarada.

Pia Villa, the boutique villa, attached to the master villa of the complex, covering a surface of approximately 80 sq. meters, has been totally restored and renovated in 2010. Entering the cute living room with the fireplace, at the ground level, you continue to the two bedrooms with their private bathrooms each one of them. A wooden ladder takes you to the upper loft level where you will find the romantic bedroom with its bathroom and the unique space of relaxation with the inviting spacious Jacuzzi tab. Thea Villa maintains the characteristics of Pia Villa with contemporary facilities, traditionally furnished and decorated with cute antiques and paintings.

Tsagkarada is Pelion's best known village to both Greek and foreign tourists. It is a preferred holiday destination throughout the year not only because of its natural beauty but also thanks to the fact that it provides the visitor with high quality restaurants and tavernas, pubs, gift shops, art galleries, festivals and cultural events in summer, excellent services, local colour and the unique Pelion atmosphere.

Tsagarada is located to the east of Mount Pelion, and is 54km from the port serving city of Volos. Tsagkarada actually consists of four smaller towns, Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kiriaki, Agio Stefano and Agioi Taxiarhes. These four villages, which are located on a green hill on Mount Pelion, make up Tsagkarada. A Beautiful rambling village, with plenty of flowers, old churches, cobbled mule tracks, chestnut trees, and traditional architecture.

The majestic 1000-year-old plane tree with a circumference of 14 meters, and at Agii Taxiarhes another one, 800 years old with a circumference of 17.5 meters. Both trees grow on a natural spring, and under them there is an old marble fountain with cold water of excellent flavour and quality.

There is also a trekking route connecting the villages of Aghios Ioannis, Damouhari, Tsagkarada ending spectacularly with a rappel at Milopotamos. Some of the paths or roads down the slopes will eventually lead the visitor to the lovely and completely unspoilt shingly beach of Fakistra, known for its turquoise waters, or to Milopotamos Beach, Pelion's most photographed and most frequented beach, a sand-and-pebble beach hewn in the rock.

A visit there is a must, as it will be an opportunity for refreshment in the clean waters of the sea and relaxation in stunning natural surroundings, indeed an unforgettable experience that can be enhanced by feasting on seafood and other local delicacies served in the nearby tavernas.

Nowhere else can you be so much part of the nature neighbouring with sand, sea, lush mountains, running creeks, gentle slopes, snow top mountain peaks, panoramic views, blue sky, colorful flora and magnificent ancient groves and trees. If you are planning on visiting this part of Pelion, your selection of accommodation at the Thea & Pia Villas will offer an added dimension of traditional authenticity, hospitality and relaxation for your holidays and vacations in this truly unique part of Greece, the -emerald- of Pelion as they call it, Tsagkarada village.
