Home description
A lovely property ideal for families on a small complex with its own private pool. The villa has hot and cold air conditioning in the living area, central heating throughout and a working log fire. It is fully furnished in a comfortable modern style . The living room has a flat screen tv, satellite television, dvd player and an electronic safe that can be programmed with your own security code permanently fitted for the use of our guests.The kitchen has fitted cupboards and worktops, ceramic hob with cooker hood over, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is also an iron and ironing board a collapsable clothes dryer and a hairdryer. The washer dryer is located in the downstairs bathroom as is the custom in Croatia. There are two fully equipped tiled bathrooms ( one on each floor ) downstairs with an all over shower system, wash basin with illuminated mirror and w.c. and upstairs with bidet, w.c., jacuzzi bath with shower over and wash basin with illuminated mirror.

The Istria region
Istria is the largest peninsula on the Adriatic coast. The property is 15 kilometres from Pula which has many sites of interest including the Amphitheatre, Temple of Augustus, Historical Museum of Istria. The Brijuni Islands are only a short boat ride away and these have a golf club, small zoo and the famous dinosaur's footprint. Hum the smallest town in the world is about an hours drive north of the property
Vodnjan / Paradiz area
The local town of Vodnjan has an open air market on the first Saturday of each month and a number of good restaurants and cafes and bars The church tower is the highest in Istria and the church has some relics dating back a few hundred years. Beaches can be found at Fazana or further along the coast There is also a nice cove at Pjescana Uvala on the way into Pula which has one of the finest restaurants in Istria at the Hotel Valsabbion Pula has the monumental 1st century Amphitheatre which plays host to a lively eclectic programme of summer festivals and a Cathedral and museum. It hosts the film festival in July and Opera in August . There is a golf driving range 2kms from Vodnjan and you can hire clubs There is also an Aquarium to visit. A trip to Rovinj which owes its survival to the contours of land and sea with the old town confined to a small peninsula presided over by a hilltop cathedral

In southern Istria, 15 kilometres north of Pula, 15 kilometres from Pula airport.
Fly to Pula Airport and then hire a car and drive to Paradiz

Further details indoors: This property was finished in 2008 and has just been fully furnished in a modern style and has plenty of storage space in all of the bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed and two bedrooms have twin single size beds. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with close access to the bathroom which may suit an elderly relative or nanny. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have access to the terrace. On the ground floor there is a spacious covered terrace providing shade which overlooks the pool and gardens which wrap around the property. Electronic gates with parking for two cars and intercom entry system for the pedestrian access. The plot size is just under 600 square metres with an automatic timed irrigation system for the garden.
The pool which is 8 metres by 4 metres ranges in depth from 1 metre to 1.35 metres .
Further details outdoors: Upstairs and downstairs terraces with sunloungers and patio tables. The downstairs one being covered to allow shade if required. The villa is situated in the middle of the plot with a recently planted garden on all sides watered via an automated irrigation system.
A tennis court is on the development. The club house with snackbar , gym and sauna is due to be completed autumn 2008
