About the home

A lovely property ideal for families on a small complex with its own private pool. There is a shared tennis court. It is next door to property 61516 which is also available for rental and would therefore also suit large groups of friends.
This property was finished in 2008 and is fully furnished in a modern style with plenty of storage space in all of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a superking bed, two bedrooms have king size beds and one has twin single beds. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with close access to the bathroom which may suit an elderly relative or nanny. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have access to the terrace.
The villa has hot and cold air conditioning in the living area, for winter bookings central heating throughout and a working log fire.
It is fully furnished in a comfortable modern style . The living room has a flat screen tv, satellite television, dvd.
Upstairs an electronic safe that can be programmed with your own security code permanently fitted for the use of our guests.The kitchen has fitted cupboards and worktops, ceramic hob with cooker hood over, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. There is also an iron and ironing board, a collapsible clothes dryer and a hairdryer.
The washer dryer is located in the downstairs bathroom as is the custom in Croatia. There are two fully equipped tiled bathrooms ( one on each floor ) downstairs with an all over shower system, wash basin with illuminated mirror and w.c. and upstairs with bidet, w.c., jacuzzi bath with shower over and wash basin with illuminated mirror.
On the ground floor there is a covered terrace which provides shade and overlooks the pool and gardens which wrap around the property. The pool which is 8 metres by 4 metres ranges in depth from 1 metre to 1.35 metres .

Electronic gates with parking for two cars and intercom entry system for the pedestrian access.
The plot size is 600 square metres with an automatic timed irrigation system for the garden.

Upstairs and downstairs terraces with sun loungers and patio tables. The downstairs one being covered to allow shade if required. The villa is situated in the middle of the plot with a recently planted garden on all sides watered via an automated irrigation system. There is a communal tennis court is on the development and separate BBQ area.

Please note departure is by 10 am to allow cleaners access and arrival is 2 pm onwards

Bed linen and towels are changed weekly by the cleaner on the middle Saturday in a two week stay

The Istria region

Istria is the largest peninsula on the Adriatic coast.
The property is 15 kilometres from Pula which has many sites of interest including the Amphitheatre, Temple of Augustus, Historical Museum of Istria.
The Brijuni Islands are only a short boat ride away and these have a golf club, small zoo and the famous dinosaur's footprint.
Hum the smallest town in the world is about an hours drive north of the property

The Vodnjan / Paradiz area

The local town of Vodnjan 6 kms away has an open air market on the first Saturday of each month and a number of good restaurants and cafes and bars.
The church tower is the highest in Istria and the church has some relics dating back a few hundred years.
Beaches can be found at Fazana or further along the coast.
There is also a nice cove at Pjescana Uvala 14 kms away on the way into Pula which has one of the finest restaurants in Istria at the Hotel Valsabbion.

Pula has the monumental 1st century Amphitheatre which plays host to a lively eclectic programme of summer festivals and a Cathedral and museum. It hosts the film festival in July and Opera in August .
There is a golf driving range 2kms from Vodnjan and you can hire clubs.

There is also an Aquarium to visit.

A trip to Rovinj 25 kms away which owes its survival to the contours of land and sea with the old town confined to a small peninsula presided over by a hilltop cathedral.

We all had a really relaxing holiday here. The house is fully equipped and very comfortable. The pool was well used by us all. Pula is worth a visit for a historical tour. Medullin, Fazana are both relaxing beaches.
Colum and Gill were also here and are very welcoming, friendly hosts.

We enjoyed our holidays in this nice villa with a great pool. Colum was great, we want to thank him a lot !! A really nice beach is near the Hotel Valsabbion. Rovinj is also worth a visit.
