Vitorchiano area
Vitorchiano is a small typically Italian town in Viterbo county. From sulphurous spring situated in ancient Roman baths, to modern indoor swimming pool, from untouched nature to modern buildings - everything is here or nearby.
Numerous festivals are held here every other week,honouring the main saints or natural products. Mild winter time and the summers are not too hot. Medieval town centre of Viterbo,Bolsena and Vico lakes,Vila Lantes magnificent gardens, Monster park from Bomarzo, Ferento ancient Roman theatre, and many more needs to be seen.

14-04-2009 Vitorchiano We have had a very happy holiday in this apartment in Vitorchiano. Petru and Carmen werw very welcoming amnd the apartment is clear:perfect for a family of four.The old town is magnificent and we all have enjoyed exploring the alleyways.Shoping in the town is easy-there is everything available.we have walked from the apartment on paths in the area.wWe have visited lake Bolsena and lake Vico.The children enjoyed playing on the beach at Vico lake.We have taken the train from Viterbo to Rome-the cost is cheap.Tourist information in Viterbo was very helpful.The area is beautiful and we hope to return.Thankyou.
