The three levels villa is scattered on a luxuriant wood of chestnuts, pines, beeches, cypress trees, oaks and fruit trees. It is situated in the heart of Cimini Mounts (1053 m.), originally an ancient crater, a few minutes walk from the centre of Soriano nel Cimino. The villa is located in northern Lazio situated 60 km north of Rome, and 180 km south of Florence
The villa is provided with all comforts and fully furnished. It can accommodate 9/10 people. It has two big lounges both with fire place, a dining room, a veranda, a big kitchen, three double bedrooms and one single bedroom with possibility to allocate other additional beds for children, two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower, barbecue in the garden, big wood-oven for pizza, bread and "porchetta" in the garden.
Kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, hob, cutlery and plates, iron and iron board. The villa is provided with washing-machine, TV and allocated car park.

The Lazio region
Thanks to its lucky position in the heart of Tuscia and Italy, Soriano nel Cimino is the ideal starting point to explore the near artistic towns or the magnificent and naturalistic itineraries.
Rome can be reached in an hour, Florence in two hours and both towns are well served by Orte railway station and coach services.
Umbria and Tuscany can be reached in 30 minutes, the sea in about an hour and so can its historical towns such as Tarquinia, Montalto, Porto Ercole, Porto S. Stefano, the Argentario and Isola del Giglio. The oldest European forest of beeches is only 5 minutes by car and is a perfect destination for strolls and excursions.
Viterbo / Soriano nel Cimino area
Soriano is a medieval town inhabited by a population of 8.000, situated around Orsini Castle, site of papal residence in XIII century.
The magnificent castle commissioned by Pope Niccolò III dominates the town and the valley and is the background of the impressive landscape enjoyed from “Sasso del Mescolaio” property. Besides the castle and the ancient borough one can admire the fortress that develops all around them and many other buildings of high historical and artistic interest such as Palazzo Chigi Albani along with its fountains by Vignola, St. George's Church (XI century), St Nicholas' from Bari Duomo (8th century) situated in the centre of the town, in the heart of the characteristic Vittorio Emanuele III Square, site of shows and entertainments. Among these, the Jazz Festival running from the second half of July to the first decade of August, concerts, Film Festivals and during the first weeks of October the historical adaptation of the medieval battle of Buonincontro during the characteristic chestnuts festival "Sagra delle Castagne"
During this time Soriano becomes lively of people dressed in Middle Age costumes; local dishes can be enjoyed all around the town in the typical taverns and wine cellars made ready ad hoc for the event. Different and several shows are featured around the town and roasted chestnuts are offered for free in the streets of all the old quarters.
A few Km. away there are Bolsena Lake (30 km) and Vico Lake (15 Km) of vulcanic origins; Viterbo, the papal town, today the site of a prestigious University, along with its masterpieces, museums and galleries, designer shops, restaurants, discos, hotsprings and Spas "Le Terme dei Papi", with its suggestive event "Macchina di Santa Rosa" the 3rd of September; Bagnaia and its luxurious Villa Lante and its fountains dated 16th, Bagnoregio, the so called "dying town"; Calcata, Vitorchiano, Caprarola and its prestigious Palazzo Farnese; Montefiascone, land of the famous Est Est Est wine with its Wine Festival (1st/15th august); Orvieto (40 km) and its imposing Duomo and all Tuscia with its uneven heritage; Spoleto with its "Festival dei due Mondi"
