Set in the quiet seclusion of it's owns grounds and overlooking the superb scenery of the Tiber valley. This recently restored farmhouse has been converted in to 2 independent and fully equipped holiday apartments. Both retain their original architecture and style of furnishing. All the rooms enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

The Lazio region

The strategic location at the border, between Umbria and Lazio makes Verdealloggio an ideal base for a day trips to Orvieto, Todi, Rome, Florence, Spoleto, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Viterbo, Lake Trasimeno, Civita and many others historical cities. Both regions are notable for their history, art, architecture, archaeology, food, religion and culture.

Viterbo / Giove area

Easy to reach from Rome and Florence, the little centre of Giove is situated on a hill, at 300 meters above the sea level, overlooking the Tiber Valley. The imposing Ducal Castel and the historic centre are often used for local festival and festivities such as 'Il sole e la luna festiva' held at the end of June. The summer calendar is rich of local celebrations, from traditional to cultural, food, wine, also in the nearby towns. In Giove, there is a supermarket, chemist’s, post office and bank. There are also various food shops and clothing stores as well as restaurants and pizzerias. Giove is a very quite and peaceful place, people are relaxed and welcoming.
Giove is an ideal base for a day trips to: Orvieto, Amelia, Tody, Rome, Florence, Spoleto, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Viterbo, Trasimeno Lake, etc..

How to get there

Ryanair and Easyjet fly to Rome Ciampino and Perugia, both an hour and a half driving, from the property.

The farmhouse is divided into two apartments, each with its own spacious outdoor area.
Each apartment consists of two double bedrooms, living room - kitchen, bathroom with bath and furnished outside area.
Each apartment sleeps up to 4 or can be rented together.
It is only 10 minutes walk into the charming village of Giove, offering a good selection of shops.
The nearby train station and motorway exit makes it possible to make day trips to places such as Rome, Viterbo, Florence, Orvieto, Perugia, Terni, Todi and Assisi.

Further details outdoors:
Each apartment has a direct access to its own private garden.
The private swimming-pool is located just a few metres from the house.
Two mountain-bikes are available for the use of guests.
Nearby, there are two riding-stables if guests wish to go horse riding.
There is also a swing for children and a barbecue.
