"An adventurous holiday break for two!"
Jeremy and Valery were lovely hosts and always there for a chat and to let you know the best places to eat, visit and must see attractions all over Normandy and into Brittany. We did so much in the 10… More

"the perfect getaway"
The property was exactly as it was in the advert...and more. I've been to many gites in France and most of them were fine, but there were always a couple of things that could have been improved.… More

"So good, we came back for seconds... :)"

"Peaceful getaway - which is exactly what we wanted"
Gorgeous little cottage in the grounds of the main house, but nice and private. It was located in a hamlet outside a small village of St Germain de Tallevende. We booked it because it looked very peaceful and was dog friendly. We took Bruce (our handsome pooch) who was welcomed as much as we were. Valerie and Jeremy welcomed us and one of them was always on hand if we needed to ask anything. This cottage is right on the doorstep of the Voie Vert, which is miles and miles of walk/cycle path in both directions. You can also borrow bikes and explore. The weather for the beginning of Sept was gorgeous and we didn't get out of shorts but there is a lovely wood burning stove for those colder nights. Mont St. Michel is about 45 mins away and there are other local historic towns to visit - Mortain for instance 25 km on bikes on the Voie Vert!!

"Excellent, quiet break away"
We had a lovely, quiet break away while staying at La Petite Maison. Jeremy, Valerie, and Jake the dog were excellent hosts, and we thought it was excellent value for money. Excellent location for exploring Normandy including Bayeaux, Mont Saint Michel, the D-Day Beaches, and Vire itself. This gita is well located for walking and cycling. Gerry (our dog) also had a great time. Thank you.

Great little holiday Gite, set in peaceful quiet country location. Conveniently situated to Vire with its large supermarkets, cycle track at bottom of the garden and Lake Dathee with its Golf course and superb walks. Friendly owners, with Jake the dog and Gismo the cat. Thanks again to Jeremy and Valerie.

"Perfect setting in rural France"
Just to say, we really enjoyed our week in La Petite Maison! Set in the idyllic Normandy countryside, this is a lovely property within a beautiful garden - peaceful yet close to villages, towns and amenities; also makes a good central base for touring the area.
Our dog Monty loved it too!
