Home description
A perfect location for those in search of 'traditional Spain'. The apartment is situated in a private, gated area with two communal pools with plenty of room to sunbathe or sit privately on your own balcony. The area has all the amenities necessary for a wonderful holiday but remains very Spanish. The nearest beach is a short stroll away and is one of the many coves along the coast that are within walking distance. All are very unspoilt and backed by cliffs, ideal for an early morning or evening walk. A car is not essential but is recommended if you wish to explore further afield.
The apartment is ideally suited to both those who want to relax by the pool or the beach and for those who like to be a little more adventurous. The main motorway linking Barcelona and Valencia is only 15 minutes away.
The apartment is clean and modern with everything you will need to make your stay a comfortable one.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region
The apartment is located in the north area of Costa del Azahar - known as The Orange Blossom Coast - the smell of orange blossom fills the air in spring.
Benicarlo (next to Vinaros) is also a seafaring town with the resort providing a great variety of watersports –including canoeing, sailing, snorkling, diving and water skiing.
A few kilometers along the coast is Peniscola old Medieval town with walls and fortifications surrounding the white washed houses and Peniscola Castle that housed the controversial 15th century Pope Benedict XIII. The castle was made famous during the filming of El Cid. Peniscola has 7 kilometres of beautiful beaches with a lively atmosphere and many night spots. It also hosts the Classical Music Season and International Comedy Festival each year.
Morella is the medieval capital city of the region El Ports and is an interesting ancient walled town high in the mountains (approx 40 mins drive).
The nearby Ulldecona reservoir is an area of great natural beauty, ideal for hill walking and bird watching.
Barcelona city is 2 hours by car (Valencia is 1 1/4 hours) or both are easily accessible by train from Vinaros. Both are fantastic cities.
Columbretes Islands can be visited by a sea trip. These volcanic islands are a protected nature reserve but organised visits are available.
The Universal Mediterranean theme park ‘Port Aventura’ and ‘Costa Caribe’ water park are only an hours drive away or easily accessible by train from Vinaros directly to Port Aventura’s own railway station. This is the only Universal theme park in Europe and is a must for the young at heart! (www.portaventura.es)
Vinaros / Costa del Norte area
Vinaros is a fishing port town, bringing in fresh fish every day with King Prawns a local speciality. There is a fantastic market next to the seafront in Vinaros where you can purchase fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Restaurants and bars are all along the seafront with excellent shopping in the town centre and plenty of large supermarkets on the main road.
There is an award winning golf club 30 minutes away and is the only course in Spain designed by Bernhard Langer (www.novapanoramica.com)
