"Beautiful!"

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage and were so sad to leave. The little house has so much character and was exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Aquitaine. The daily food … More

"Very cozy and comfortable retreat that stays cool even if it blazing hot outside (son Max, 11)"

I had a lovely time with my partner and son in this beautiful cottage with an amazing garden. It had everything we needed and Susan, the lovely owner, even topped things up with toys and breakfast cer… More

"amazing!!!"

What a wonderful little treasure this cottage is, we fell in love with it as soon as Susan let us in! It is just an amazing place to 'get away from it all'. the peace and tranquillity is unbelievable. The owner Susan and her little dog Treacle are very good hosts and made our stay very enjoyable.
If you want to 'get away from it all' this has to be high on the list of places to go, the shops are only 10k away and have all you need. We visited some of the local attractions but was always drawn to go back to the cottage. The temperature outside was in the high 30s but it was always comfortable in the cottage to sleep or under the porch during the day for shade.. All the rooms are well equipped for what ever you need. We travelled here on a motorbike from Calais and even the trip is enjoyable, we would go back any time it really is a lovely place to go and hide and just enjoy the surroundings.

"a little slice of heaven"

We stayed here for one glorious week (and were very sad to leave). The cottage and surrounds are as they appear in the photos - homely, welcoming and very restful and peaceful. We absolutely loved our stay. Sitting on the porch under the big tree in the afternoon and generally soaking in the beautiful air, light and tranquility - an absolute delight. The cottage is well situated as a base for exploring the region of Lot and Dordogne which is great - however, we loved the cottage so much we ended up spending a lot of time simply enjoying it. Susan is a remarkable host - and made us feel very welcome as did Treacle her new puppy! We have been traveling for about 7 months - and have stayed at many places during that time. Susan and her cottage remains at the top of our list of our happy memories. We would love to go back anytime.

"Ideallic HideAway"

Booked for a week to escape the rate race - just myself and my well behaved dog - Bertie. I'd been there only hours when I realised that a week just wasn't going to be enough. The cottage is so quaint and wraps around you making you feel like it's home from home. The weather wasn't brilliant while I was there but even that didn't matter. The cottage is so cosy and there's a log burner - it feels like something out of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - a fairytale stay and I loved every minute. Susan is such a welcoming Hostess and nothing is too much trouble. I'd definitely go again (if she'll have me)!

"The peace and beauty of the area"

We both loved this quiet little cottage. It was clean.comfatable and pretty. The cottage had it's own private garden with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Our host was very helpful and provived us with lots of useful information on where to go for entertainment etc, but respected our need for privacy at all times. There was plenty to do and see, with good reasonable priced places to eat in the local bastides. We explored local food markets, and wine cellars where we bought good local wine at very reasonable prices. We had a great holiday and will most certainly return to Susan's lovely retreat. Thank you Susan fromTanya and James x
