The grand fireplace, original features and sweeping views over the valley and rolling countryside make the Château d'Ax a truly unique rental property, ideal for a family group looking for an experience they will never forget.
The Chateau d'Ax is available on its own for groups of up to 24 or with the maison du parc for groups of up to 28. Within the grounds are a large private swimming pool and a dining terrace with BBQ. The chateau is suitable for rental on its own (for groups of up to 24) or together with the maison du parc for groups of up to 28.
On the ground floor is the living room with grand fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a salon and a TV room. On the first floor there are 5 bedrooms: 3 doubles, a twin and a single. One of the doubles has a connecting living room. There are also 2 bathrooms. On the second floor there are 3 further bedrooms: a double, a triple (with double and single bed) and a twin. There is also a further full bathroom.
The chateau also has a self-contained apartment within it comprising a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a double bedroom and a dormitory room (with low ceiling) with 5 single beds - ideal for children.

Outside there is a hectare of grounds full of fruit trees with a 14mx7m gated swimming pool and a dining terrace with BBQ area.

- Security deposit: €1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: Bed linen is available for hire for 10 euros per person.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: 250 euros.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Pets allowed.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region
The region is known for its beautilful countryside, which is dramatic and has numerous quaint towns & villages dotted throughout the area. The region also boasts countless chateaux, caves, view points & museums, providing the visitor with many activities and places to visit. Why not take in the markets that overflow with local produce such as foie gras, truffles, walnuts, duck & goose.
Local towns include: Cahors, Fumel, Toulouse, Montauban, Tournon d' Agenais and Montcuq.
The Villeneuve Sur Lot / Saux area
The Tournon area is perfect for that relaxing, rural escape. Unwind in the large private garden or relax by the pool. Why not enjoy a BBQ, cooking with fresh, local ingredients? There are many markets available locally in all directions and on every day of the week. The most famous though is the Sunday market of Montcuq.
Local activities include tennis (3km), horse-riding, fishing and an 18-hole golf course 10km away.
