Lot-et-Garonne and the Southern Dordogne - the lovely area of South-West France, including the southern part of the Dordogne region, the northern part of the Lot-et-Garonne department, and the Dropt Valley, together form one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of France.

Much of the most beautiful rural architecture in France, or perhaps to be found anywhere, is to be seen here - ancient houses, barns, pigeonniers and churches simply form part of the unchanging landscape.
The Lot and Garonne and south Dordogne area of France offers the perfect combination of things to do and see, a perfect place to relax and unwind, and lots of interesting things to see. Even if you can only spend a few days or a couple of weeks learning to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the Lot-et-Garonne area, you will leave with memories of a world that you thought no longer existed.
