Occupying the entire top floor, this magnificent open-plan apartment is completely unique. The area of the apartment is over 100 m2, it is, extremely spacious. Perfect for four people or a couple, but can easily accommodate eight. The beach is about a 10 minute walk.

The terrace offers a stunning view of what's renowned to be one of the most beautiful bays in the entire Mediterranean, while inside the apartment offers the ultimate in comfort.

The French Riviera is one of the most beautiful regions of France. It is beautiful all year round. You can practice skiing during the winter. The ski resorts are 1h30 from Nice. You can also the possibility of shopping in larger stores. You can take a boat to go to Corsica and Italy is 45 minutes away.

Villefranche Sur Mer area

Villefranche-sur-Mer is located on the French Riviera in an idyllic setting, between Nice and Monaco, along the Mediterranean Sea. Separated from Nice, it is bordered by Mount Boron, and about 10 km from Monaco, it spreads in bench on the side of the bay of Villefranche, the deepest natural harbour in the western Mediterranean. You can visit the old town with its medieval citadel and its history, the atmosphere of the streets lined with shops, restaurants and cafes.

In summer you can go and see movies outdoors in the old citadel. In the past, Villefranche hosted many figures of the art or show business, including: - Katherine Mansfield, Jean Cocteau, Aldous Huxley and the couple of painters Christine Boumeester and Henri Goetz, painter sculptor Volti which the city spent a museum, Keith Richards, Rolling Stones guitarist, with his girlfriend Anita Pallenberg in 1971 at the Villa Nellcote where the Rolling Stones recorded Albun "Exile on main street." Today, Tina Turner and Bono of rock group U2 and Elton John will have a home. Nicole Coste mother of Alexander (son of the Prince of Monaco) resides there with her three children.

The bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer is the site of the Apnea competitions. Several films have been made including the famous James Bond - "Never Say Never Again" with Sean Connery, Kim Basinger and "Ronin", John Frankenheimer, with Robert De Niro and Jean Reno.

How to get there

Regular flights from major UK and other European cities to Nice, with BA, Easyjet, Air France etc.
Eurostar + TGV is another rapid option.

From Nice airport there is a regular bus service (express or standard) into Nice, and regular buses or trains from there to Villefranche. Negotiate if taking a taxi; it shouldn't cost more than 40 Euros.

The property is a 10 minute walk from Villefranche railway station (although too far away to hear the trains), or a 5 minute walk from the main bus stop.

The area of the apartment is over 100 m2 with a large living room, views with sunrise and luxury yachts.
This apartment, "belle vue" is situated in the most beautiful part of the Cote d'Azur. The view from the picture window of the bay of Villefranche and Cap Ferrat is probably the best in Europe.

The lounge area is large and spacious with a picture window/door running the whole length of the room and affording a breath taking view. Summer or winter this is a very comfortable apartment.

Large picture windows (with electric shutters) allow the beautiful and invigorating Mediterranean light to flood into the apparently; the Provençal designed kitchen, the cosy seating and dining areas, all set off by local and Mediterranean art and cooled by an efficient air conditioning system.

For added entertainment there is a large Plasma screen.

The terrace measures about 8 square metres. A table and 4 chairs are perfect for al breakfast (with electric store) or fresco dining with with a magnificent view over the bay of Villefranche and Cap ferrat.

The beach is 10 minutes walk through the old city.

A private parking for one car and there is also a parking next to the building.

Conditions

Our booking week is Saturday to Saturday, with arrivals being 1600hrs or later and departures being 1000hrs. However, it is worth asking us if you have another period in mind (eg Thursday to Thursday).

When making a booking 50% of the full rental must be paid upon return of the signed booking contract and no reservation should be regarded as confirmed until such deposit has been paid.

The balance will be due 60 days before your rental starts. If the rental period starts fewer than 60 days from the booking date, the entire payment will be due upon return of the signed booking contract.

A security deposit will be required prior to your rental and will be refunded, less the cost of any damage or breakage, within 30 days of departure. All monies must be paid by funds transfer or cheque into our nominated bank account.
