A lovely apartment which offers a great location for your holiday to Villefranche. We pride ourselves in this lovely place which is home to the owners for part of the year. There are wonderful views from this property across the bay of Villefranche.
It is a very peaceful apartment and being on the ground floor has the benefit of a large terrace leading on to a private garden. A large shared pool is also on site and the beach is just a short hop away.
You are walking distance from the village and sea and minutes from shops so you could not have a better location There is parking on site, although a car is not essential. There is excellent public transport in front of the building.
The kitchen is fully fitted and well stocked for those of you who like to cook. This is a great location for everything you need. There are many lovely local restaurants all around. Thirty minutes from Nice Airport.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Villefranche is situated 4km from Nice Centre and 7km from Nice International airport. A well kept secret as it retains it's charm due to lack of major hotels nearby.
You can happily spend all your time in the Village discovering it's wonderful history and why artists such as Jean Cocteau and Sommerset Maughan loved this area so much. In the 60's the music of the Rolling Stones could be heard across the bay as they had a villa on Cap Ferrat. Yet the village still retains it's authentic feeling.
If you do wish to venture forth, the train which is 7 mins away runs all along the coast. Nice or Monaco are ten mins away or you can be in Italy (Ventimiglia) in 40 mins. The village of Eze is 20 mins by car or St Paul de Vence, Cannes and Antibes about 40 mins.
A car is not essential and the walks here are fabulous. However, there is parking available nearby. This is the best location on this fabulous coast by far. See the link to our website for more information.
Villefranche Sur Mer / Col de Villefranche area
The Village itself is full of history and dates back to the 12th century. There are weekly tours around the village and Citadel.
The oldest street runs below the apartment. Jean Cocteau is famous was having lived in Villefranche and the chapel was designed by him. He stayed at the Hotel Welcome which is in front of the apartment.
There are regular festivals in the Citadel and village celebrations which take place during the year. Each Sunday there is an antique market in the square.
How to get there
Easy Jet to Nice Airport which is 20 to 40 minutes drive from the apartment.
Trains from Nice train station come into the Village if you are coming by train.
The apartment is a short walk from the train station.
There are very good buses to the village from Nice.
