Ideal holiday home for couples. Unique studio apartment decorated with taste. Entirely renovated in the Heart of the old Town, next to the Church (Mediterranean bells). Wooden parquet floors, marble bathroom and a very cosy balcony with no vis à vis. Fitted kitchen with dining area for two.Sleeping is in a large double bed in the mezzanine.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The apartment is 100 metres from the seafront and enjoys a temperate Mediterranean climate all year round. During the Summer, the average sea temperature is 24° C , the sea is blue and clear. Monaco Grand Prix usually takes place at the end of May. Very mild winter at the coast, although within one and a half hour's drive you are in the Alps and the ski stations start at 1300 m altitude. The best stations are a little further, still less than 2 hours drive and starting at around 1800 metres (Val d'Isère, Auron, Isola 2000, Valberg). The region was a part of Italy until the early 1800's, so many families still have italian roots and culture.

Villefranche Sur Mer / Villefranche Old Town area

Situated between Monaco and Nice, this is regarded as the most breathtaking bay on the Riviera.
Villefranche dates from around 130BC, since then it has been a centre of trade, fishing and home to the U.S 6th Fleet for many years. Places to visit : Monaco, Beaulieu, St Jean de Cap Ferrat, La Turbie (Roman ruins), Eze, Nice, spectacular views, culture, beaches and excellent food. The atmosphere in the village is really welcoming. Cultural events are numerous and there are many art galleries and churches of all denominations close by. Open air cinema under the stars in the gardens at the Citadelle (5minutes walk)

Villefranche-sur-Mer is perhaps the most visited place on the Riviera and we will be happy to welcome you in this unique spot. You are within 1 min from the waterfront and the restaurants , 5 mins from the main beach . In the heart of the old town, the street is a pedestrian area, shops, cafe's, boulangerie, vegetable, fruit markets are all within a stone's throw. The ambiance is like a small village and everyone is at ease in this beautiful little town. Lots of steps to keep you fit and happy.

diving, snorkelling, sailing, walking, hiking, swimming, the beach, mountaineering, kayaking, paragliding, windsurfing, museums, art galleries, skiing in the winter and so much more...

How to get there

Fly to Nice Airport :
with Easy Jet; Air France/KLM; Virgin, Delta....
Eurostar - TGV from London Waterloo, via Paris (also an option)

Car hire : easy to find at the airport.

Taxi from Airport to Villefranche around 35 euros during day time, otherwise hop in a bus (n°98) to Nice BusTerminal and then take another bus (n°100) direction Monaco , and stop in Villefranche.
Train from the airport, make your way ( 15mn walk) to Nice St Augustin station and take a TER train direction of Vintimille ( only 3 stations away to Villefranche.

A beautiful holiday retreat ! Home from Home ! Down the hill on the right great italian food. Visit Beluga in the port for champagne and cocktails! If you want to eat in go up the hill and left to visit deli. Go to the beautiful relaxing beach and enjoy the sun and scenery. For days out, visit Nice and Monaco and take one of the tours. We have both had a fantastic time ! Little Harbour apartment is beautiful and we will be back again. The weather hasn't been to good but we have made the most of it. We caught the bus to Nice and Monaco (bus100) for 1 euro only. The old Town of Nice is very pretty and Monaco is dripping with money but both places are worth a visit.
The locals have been really friendly, we found all the food great especially from the bakery in the morning.
Whoever you are, where ever you are from, we hope you find this hideaway retreat as warm welcoming and relaxing as we did. Look forward to our return. PS : hope you like the bells !! Justin & Nova - England
