Situated in a quiet street in the old town of Villefranche, this lovely apartment is located on the second floor and close to all amenities.
Set in the heart of one of the world's most beautiful bays, the original Old Town of Villefranche-sur-Mer sits at the base of a natural amphitheatre of mountains and terraced hills. This is one of the reasons so many people fall in love with Villefranche. Lots of charming restaurants, pretty views, open air cinema, music (in season) and museums in the Citadelle of Villefranche. Diving school, boat hire and boat excursions avaliable from the quay side.
Nearby areas of Mount Boron, which looks down over the bay from the West; and St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Eze Village and Eze Bord de Mer to the East. Five minutes to Nice and 20 minutes to Monaco by train.

Villefranche Sur Mer / Villefranche Old Town area
The picturesque village and port of Villefranche-sur-Mer nestles idyllically in an amphitheatre of wooded slopes and rocky outcrops on one of the Riviera’s most seductive bays, between Cap Ferrat and Mont Boron, only 3 miles (5 km) from Nice and 8 miles (13 km) from Monaco. Probably first inhabited by prehistoric man, later settled by Greeks and Romans, the present town, founded in 1295, enjoyed a long period of commercial independence from the 14th century, due in part to its deep harbour. Villefranche remains a charming anchorage for the yachts of the rich and famous residing in Saint Jean-Cap Ferrat.

- Fly to Nice – Villefranche sur mer is just 8 km from the airport
- Cheap flights available from ba.com, easyjet.com, bmi.com from all uk airports
- Car hire available from the airport, but not essential
- Free shuttle buses can take you from the airport to Nice Station and Villefranche-sur-Mer is on the main Nice-Monaco-Menton-Ventimiglia line, with frequent service. The rail line curves around the edge of the bay, running just above the beach to the east of town and is a two minute walk from the apartment.
- There are always local taxis available and take 15-20 mins to reach Villefranche-sur-Mer and cost between 45 and 60 euros depending on traffic
