Villa Le Studio is situated just by the heart of the old town of Villefranche Sur Mer, and is a lovely holiday apartment in a building that looks like a little villa. The apartment has been newly and stylishly renovated with large windows that look out on the most sensational views of the whole bay. There is one double bedroom and another double bedroom on the mezanine level above the sitting room. Both have king sized beds. The kitchen is fully fitted and there is air conditioning. There is also a small pretty balcony so that you can sit outside. The property has a private parking space for one car. The street leads from the side of the building straight down to the village which is five minutes away and the sea which is about a ten minute walk away. Discover all that Villefranche has to offer with its great restaurants, wonderful beach and the village full of history and charm. Without doubt this is one of the worlds most beautiful locations.

Villefranche is situated 4kms from Nice Centre and 7km from Nice International airport. A well kept secret as it retains it's charm due to lack of major hotels nearby. You can happily spend all your time in the Village enjoying discovering it's wonderful history and why artists such as Jean Cocteau and Sommerset Maughan loved this area so much. In the 60's the music of the Rolling Stones could be heard across the bay as they had a villa on Cap Ferrat. Yet the village still retains it's authentic feeling. Villefranche also benefits from a micro-climate which means that the suns shines all year round making it perfect for a winter break. If you do wish to venture forth, the train which is 7 minutes away runs all along the coast. Nice or Monaco are ten minutes away or you can be in Italy in 40 minutes. The wonderful village of Eze is 20 minutes by car or St Paul de Vence, Cannes and Antibes about 40 minutes. All can be reached by public transport so you can easily be without a car. However, there is parking available nearby. This is the best location on this fabulous coast by far.

Villefranche Sur Mer / Villefranche Old Town area

The Village itself is full of history and dates back to the 12th century. There are weekly tours around the village and Citadel. The oldest street runs below the apartment. Jean Cocteau is famous was having lived in Villefranche and the chapel was designed by him. He stayed at the Hotel Welcome which is in front of the apartment. There are regular festivals in the Citadel and village celebrations which take place during the year. Each Sunday there is an antique market in the square.

How to get there

Fly to Nice Airport. Take 20 to 40 minutes to get to Villefranche.
Auto Europe for car rentals and collect a car at the airport.
By train to Nice and onto Villefranche by train. The station is at the end of the road.

Parking can be difficult in this area but this property has the benefit of a parking space outside and no steep stairs to climb to the apartment.

The short walk down to village is very easy and the drive to Monaco or Nice only ten minutes or up to Eze village about fifteen minutes. There are tennis courts right next to the apartment. Also the bus along the coast is two minutes away or the train about a seven minute walk. The apartment is very quiet all year round.

Conditions

A 20% booking fee is required at the time of booking and the balance eight weeks before the start of the rental period.

We take a 20% deposit to secure the booking and the balance is paid six weeks before arrival in Villefranche. On arrival we hold a cash damage deposit which is refunded on check out.

There is a one off cleaning and electricity charge in cash on arrival of 75 euros and electricity charge of 25 euros. We hold a cash damage deposit of 500 euros which is refunded on check out.

"We loved the convenience of Villa Le Studio and the great views of the whole bay of Villefranche. So useful to be able to park outside and to come back to our little haven. We enjoyed going to the local butcher and little shops and cooking at home as well as the restaurants on the doorstep. Drove one and a half hours up to the snow for a day. Definitely be back.
