This Historic Old Town apartment has been completely renovated and comprises of a large shower room, kitchen area with sink, 2 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer compartment. There is a dining table for 4 people, a comfortable sofa that can convert to a bed, flat screen TV and DVD player.

Upstairs there is a double divan bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and hanging rail. The Juliet balcony has a lovely sea view and the apartment also benefits from Air Conditioning. Amelie is a truly wonderful holiday getaway, close to the shops, restaurants, beach and train station in Villefranche sur mer.

Provence-Cote d'Azur is blessed with great natural beauty. The snow capped Alps line the eastern side and the foothills seem to tumble into the glorious blue Mediterranean sea that gives the region its name.

Along the coast glamorous names like Monaco, Nice, Cannes and St tropez stand out but in between these famous towns are gorgeous towns and villages such as Villefranche sur mer with it's picturesque harbour and Menton where you feel you're already in Italy.

Located on the front in Villefranche this first floor apartment is very close to all amenities, train station and buses. Set in the heart of one of the world's most beautiful bays, the original Old Town of Villefranche-sur-Mer sits at the base of a natural amphitheatre of mountains and terraced hills.

This is one of the reasons so many people fall in love with Villefranche. Lots of charming restaurants, pretty views, open air cinema, music (in season) and museums in the Citadelle of Villefranche.

“Location great, but very disappointed overall - bad value” At first glance the Amelie apartment seems great. Modern furnishings, small but well laid out space, and the location is perfect right in the middle of town with a view. But we quickly realized this apartment is not worth the price paid. Unfortunately, upon arrival we had several negative experiences, the worst of which was the overall cleanliness of the apartment. It was clear that the person who cleaned up before our arrival didn't clean thoroughly: grime on the counters, dust, bed linens smelled foul, toilet not cleaned, floors dirty. There is no coffee maker, no washing machine or wifi. We stayed in 5 rental apartments during our recent 3 week visit to Italy and France and this was the only rental I would not recommend again. Response: We are sorry this guest was unhappy with the apartment but as you can see from other reviews this is unusual. We value feedback and always do our best to ensure that the apartment is maintained to a hight standard.

“A well presented apartment in a beautiful seaside town.” Amelie is a small centrally located apartment but perfectly suited to a couple. It is well presented, has all the amenities needed and the view from the balcony looks right out over the sea. Wendy was very helpful througout the whole process and made the experience stress free. She also provided helpful information to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. The town of Villefranche is a fab little place. The view when you first arrive is beautiful and it has a fair amount of places for you to wander and explore. You will find a large selection of restaurants both on the seafront and down the side alleys and it is worth sampling as many as you can! The citadel provides some local history and culture and has several exhibitions inside which are free of charge. I would definitely recommend you stay in this beautiful apartment and town and as a bonus, Monaco is only 4 stops away on the train! :)

“Fantastic” The appartment was excellent, well fited out and very comfortable with a great veiw over the bay. Ideal location in Ville Franche restraunts bars and shops close by and the beach is a short walk along to the left and a nice walk round to the marina going right from the square.

“Couldn't ask for a better place to stay !” My sister-in-law and I enjoyed our stay at Amelie very much. The apartment was excellent and was in the best place possible in Villefranche. Close to all amenities, wonderful views and just across the road from the sea. We spent a lovely five days there and will certainly visit again. We would recommend Amelie to anyone without hesitation. A truly comfortable and well placed apartment.
