Beautiful Old villa in top class condition with a southerly panoramic view over the bay of Villefranche and 1 mile from Cap Ferrat. Completely renovated to the absolute highest standard. Easy walk to the port (4 minutes) without having to cross roads etc. Very central, yet quiet. Probably one of the best villas on the Cote d'Azur. Built in 1880, it has all the beautiful Belle Epoque features of that period, and is only 100 metres from the beach. There is a guest quarters at the side and a guardian's house at the other side. This villa is perfect for entertaining as it can cater for up to 50 guests in the covered atrium at the rear. The views over the bay are astonishing and it gets sun all day..... hence the name Soleia.

Each bedroom in the main house is equal with the same views and has a walk in dressing area with en-suite bathroom. One of the bedrooms has an office area. All appliances are new. Villefranche is situated between Monaco (Monte Carlo) and Nice. This is considered the best part of the Cote d'Azur and is regarded as one of the world's great locations. The villa is also a 3 minute drive to Cap Ferrat or Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The station is a 1 minute walk from the villa and the train travels all along the coast to Italy or back to San Tropez. Nice international airport is 8 Miles away. The beach is 100 metres away.

Villefranche has an Old Town built sloping down to the sea on all sides. It is steeped in antiquity with Rue Obscure unchanged for 400 years and the Citadel built 500 years ago (See pictures). The Old Town streets are very narrow with many small restaurants and 2 churches.
The Villefranche Sur Mer / Villefranche Old Town area
The port has many top class restaurants and bots can be hired from the small marina. The train is 4 minutes or only 2 stops to the centre of Nice and 7 stops from Monaco. Cap Ferrat is a 30 minute walk or 6 minute drive and Beaulieu is the next village
Villefranche is central to all the interesting places on the coast. The train is 2 stops to the centre of Nice and 8 stops (17 mins) to Monaco (Monte Carlo). Italy is only 35 minutes away.
Villefranche is considered one of the best locations on the Cote d'Azur. It is situated between Nice and Monaco and is beside Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu. It is based around the Old Town which has street Rue Obscure unchanged since the 16 th century. Most of the village sweeps down to the sea and there are many restaurants on the port.
Places of interest include the Citadel, built in the 15 th century which is now a museum and Mayor's HQ.
