Because of the apartment location in the old quarters there is no designated parking but there is ample parking behind the church which is two minutes walk away. This apartment is ideally situated with walking distance to a beautiful park with kids play area and a local tourist attraction with caves set into the mountain side. The local vinyard Valcolombe has won several awards for their fine wine. The area also boasts several other fine vinyards. A must see.
The Provence region
Villecroze is set in beautiful countryside surrounded by many vinyards and is only a 35 minutes drive to the Mediterranean coast with beautiful sandy beaches. As you can expect the climate is mild in winter and very nice, warm and sunny in the summer.
Villecroze has it's own market every Thursday morning, selling local fresh products. The market square offers a selection of restaurants and bars. Local amenities is a friendly bakery where fresh croissants can be bought every morning, a grocery store and the old part of the village offers tea rooms and smoothie bars.
All the surrounding villages offer their own markets and local amenities, which I highly recommend to visit.
A short stroll from the apartment is Villcroze park with a beautiful waterfall, a modern play area for kids and grassy areas for a nice pick nick.
Villecroze is also only 25 minutes away from the beautiful canyon of Verdon, the biggest of its nature in Europe, which you can explore by renting a canoe or a pedalo boat.

"Reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful town - we had a lovely four days exploring the area."
I would advise light sleepers to bring ear plugs - the church is close by and the bell rings on the hour night and day - midnight is the worst - twelve long chimes just when you're drifting off to sleep.
