Home description
Lovely and cosy holiday apartment. It has a small garden with outdoor shower, barbecue and a veranda (perfect to sit down at any meal of the day). It has a spacious open plan kitchen-lounge, TV, sofa bed. On the upper level you will find a bathroom, a wide bedroom with one kingsize bed, two singlebeds, a chest of drawers and a big wardrobe. PLEASE NOTE that unfortunately opposite the apartment where it used to be a field of olive trees there has been some construction work going on. New holidays apartment are being built. There shouldn't be any work throughout the whole month of August.

The Sardinia region
Sardinia is a small paradise in the middle of Mediterranean Sea. It has more then 4000 yrs of history. You will be overwhelmed by its ancient traditions, customs and you will be struck by its crafts, its mouth-watering food and its excellent wine. Sardinia offers many beaches, one that differs from another and despite having all a clear sea, the shades of blue varies. The countryside is a charming experience; you will find simple meadows, sunflower fields, as well as deep green vegetations, hills and mountains in which you could smell the typical mediterranean aromas. You will also find plenty places of archaeological interests throughout the regions. Sardinia is an island of colours.
Villasimius area
Villasimius is a small quite village that changes with the arrival of the good seasons. It becomes a bustling place that accommodates people of any age group. It has a wide choice of restaurants, pizzerias, trendy bars, boutiques, craft shops, little delis and wine shops. The tourist board office in the main square will suggest a series of excursion to do if you get bored by lying on the sun and listening to the sea. Main activities will be water based like water skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving. Horse riding and golf also available. You will also be able to go on a boat trip and visit two little islands nearby.

-Fly to Cagliari, Villasimius is 1 hr drive -Cheap flights with Easyjet.co.uk from London-Luton - Major international car hire available at the airport -By Ferry from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Cagliari -Local Couches run regularly between Cagliari and Villasimius (Please allow at least 1hr and 1/2 for the trip) -Local taxis available, but can charge around 70 euros

"This is our 2nd time at 'La Collina' in Villasimius. The reason we came back is because the area offers so many stunning beaches within 10-15mts drive. The town is a charming traditional italian one with many shops bars and lovely places to eat. The lovely apartment, which could sleep 4 to 6 people, had everything you could need.
