Caraway Villa is C.5 minutes walking distance to the secluded Cas en Bas beach and the exclusive facilities available to our guests at the Cotton Bay Beach Club including swimming pool, spa, bars and restaurants. It is also just 10 minutes drive from the restaurants, beaches, marina, shopping mall and supermarkets at Rodney Bay and an easy drive to Castries, the capital town.

The Cap Estate region
St Lucia is arguably the most beautiful island in the Caribbean and boasts everything from the World Heritage site ‘The Pitons’, secluded beaches, water sports, tropical rainforest and mountains.
The official language is English although many of the locals also speak Patois, which is a form of abbreviated French dating back to the times when the island was temporarily colonised and fought over between the competing nations of England and France.
Situated in the Windward Islands, St Lucia benefits from the cooling trade winds which ensure the weather is never unbearably hot.
Cap Estate in the north of the island is the prime area for visitors as this is where the best beaches, restaurants and facilities are located along with the St Lucia Golf and Country Club. Rodney Bay (10 minutes drive from Caraway Villa) is the main tourist centre and features hotels, the best beach on the island, water sports, restaurants, bars, shops and a large marina. The excellent selection of restaurants provides both local and international cuisine, including Chinese, Indian, Thai, Italian, French and Caribbean.

Guests at Caraway Villa have complimentary access to the facilities at Cotton Bay Beach Club (C.5 minutes walk) on Cas en Bas beach. Facilities include 2 restaurants, 2 bars, delicatessen, fitness centre, spa and swimming pool – beach towels and sun loungers by the pool and on the beach are available free of charge.
The St Lucia Golf and Country Club is beautifully maintained, with a new club house – the bar and restaurant are great places to chill out for golfers and non-golfers alike. The 18 hole par 71 (6771 yards) course is set within the scenic rolling hills of the Cap Estate and overlooks both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. All you would expect of a championship golf course is available – e.g. golf club and shoe hire; golf carts; practice putting green; driving range; Nicklaus Academy tuition; duty free pro shop; etc.
Gros Islet is just 5 minutes drive away and is the venue for the weekly 'Jump Up' street party (Friday nights) and the annual St Lucia Jazz Festival (May).
How to get there
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic provide regular direct flights from the UK. Other airlines fly direct from the USA, Canada, Germany and many of the Caribbean islands.
