About the home

Located in Chesieres, Villars, near to restaurants and local shops, only half a kilometre from the Telecabin and town centre. The chalet has a shared swimming pool, games room with table tennis, shared sauna and utility room with washing machine/Tumble dryer, together with space to dry ski clothes and ski boot lockers.

Comfortable lounge with TV/DVD and HiFi. Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge electric hob and dishwasher. Outside terrace. 2 bedrooms, one double and the second with ample size twin beds. Modern bathroom with bath and shower in Italian granite.
Underground parking space.

The apartment has everything you should need for your holiday. However, please get in touch if you have particular requirements and we will try to accommodate them. Owners have an apartment in Villars themselves , so there will often be someone around during your stay.

There is a small terrace with table and chairs, where you can have BBQ. (None yet supplied, but portable BBQ can be purchased in nearby Co op.

We will try to accommodate a particular requirement, ie additional 'Z' bed for children, different changeover day etc. please ask.

We are very strict on 'no smoking ' policy and strictly no boots or wet shoes in the apartment.

We would not normally charge for small breakages, but extra necessary cleaning or large broken/damaged items will be taken from deposit.

The Swiss Alps / Vaud/Lake Geneva/Swiss Alps region

Situated at 1300 m, on a sunny south-facing terrace high above the Rhone valley, the holiday resort of Villars-sur-Ollon in the heart of the Vaud Alps, enjoys breathtaking views of the Dents-du-Midi and the Mont Blanc massif and as far as Lake Geneva.

Villars is a truly dual season resort and whether you prefer the summer for mountain walking and cycling or winter skiing, Villars the family friendly resort, has everything, sun,fresh air, stunning views and fabulous restaurants, yet only one and a half hours from Geneva by car.

The Villars, Switzerland / Chesieres area

The apartment is situated in Chesières, about half a kilometre from the centre of Villars and within walking distance of local shops, restaurants and Telecabin. If you prefer to take the ski bus it stops just outside. Skis can be stored at the Telecabin for convenience.

There are many places to visit in the summer, Montreux and Vevey on Lake Geneva/Leman, being a short distance away.

Extremely easy to get to. Fly to Geneva with Easy Jet or BA from London Gatwick, Stanstead, Newcastle and Liverpool. BMI Baby from Manchester,East Midlands and Cardiff and when booked in advance usually not expensive. A car can be hired at the airport and the onward journey is about one and a half hours, mostly motorway.

Drive ~ The approximate journey time from Calais is 7 hours.

Train ~ The scenic journey from Geneva airport is about 2 hours.

There are two options:
Option 1~ from Geneva ~ Bex, change to mountain train which is always waiting , to Villars.
Option 2 ~ From Geneva airport to Aigle and then catch the waiting Post bus to Villars.

The apartment is a short walk from town centre or a taxi available if lots of luggage.
