Cosy 3 bedroom chalet in Villars, set on two floors. Sleeps 6 people, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room with WC., plus one separate WC. Room One : 1 double bedroom . Room Two : 2 single beds and Third room with quality comfortable sofabed (sleeps 2). Living-room/dining room with large dining table seating up to 10, 2 larges sofas, log fireplace, Sat. TV with VHS and DVD, CD player, 100+ film library (english & french titles), english books . Dishwasher, micro-wave and clothes washer. Free Wi-Fi internet access (bring your own PC). Phone if needed.

Villars is a traditional unspoilt summer and winter resort, very popular with families (one of 15 resorts to be awarded the "Families Welcome" award) and young people, offering spectacular mountain views, 300 km of hiking trails in the summer as well as many mountain-bike trails. Quality local wines available as well as guided visits and wine tasting in their "caves". Villars boasts an 18 hole mountain golf course as well as an array of mouth-watering local restaurants.

- Fly to Geneva Airport, Villars is 120 km from airport in direction of Lausanne (east), motorway all the way except last 12 km of mountain road, from Aigle, Ollon and up to Villars.

- Car hire available at Geneva airport (numerous international agencies), French sector of airport is cheaper.
- Train station within airport, direct link to Aigle, then bus ride to Villars
- Local taxi available in Villars for transport in the area or to station or airport

The chalet is situated at the end of a private lane, set in 1'600 sq.m. of land, next to meadows and forest. Fantastic view over the swiss Alps (Dents du Midi, Dents de Morcle, Grand Muveran, and over to the Mont-Blanc massif). Very quiet and secluded area, but not lonely, there are other chalets along the private lane and chalet is located just 3 mns from shops in the resort of Villars.
15/20 mn drive down to the Rhone Valley where ample shopping centres in Monthey, Aigle, Montreux etc...

Garden is shared with owner of the chalet some week-ends.

Conditions

Refundable breakage deposit required (CHF 300.- for weekly rentals, CHF 3'000.- for winter season rental). Suitable for children (swings in garden) - sorry, pets are not allowed - no smoking indoors.

Price is all inclusive except for cleaning costs per booking (CHF 200/300.-) and laundry bill (as used, to be paid directly to laundry shop on departure when dirty laundry dropped-off), and phone access if used, these charges will be withdrawn from security deposit.

Payment to be made by bank or postal transfer in Swiss Francs, 50% required to secure booking, non-refundable in case of cancellation, remainder 1 month prior arrival.

Swiss Francs 300.- partially refundable deposit required with final balance payment for weekly rentals, Swiss Francs 3'000.- deposit with final balance payment for winter season rental.
