Mont Du Val is a few mins walk to charming town of Villars, a unique south facing resort with average 300 days sunshine, perfect for skiing, golf and mountain activities.The apartment is furnished to a high standard and boasts fantastic views over the Alps from the wrap around balcony with deck chairs to soak up the sun.

The apartment is 5 mins walk to either the mountain train or the cable car to access the huge range of family friendly ski runs. In high season the free ski bus transports residents direct from the apartment entrance.

The Swiss Alps / Vaud/Lake Geneva/Swiss Alps region

Alpes Vaudoise is the sunny region of the Swiss Alps. Centrally located for day trips to Verbier, Chamonix, Gstaad, Portes de Soleil and the Lake Geneva region. Villars is ideally located on the south facing slopes of the beautiful Swiss Alps in the french speaking Vaud area.

Situated just to the east of Montreux and lake Geneva, Villars has its own extensive ski area, but it is also connected by frequent rail and bus links to Champery (for Porte du Soleil) and Diablerets (for Glacier 3000).

The area is a great venue for mountain-biking, para-gliding golf and walking There are the rare Swiss vineyards of Ollon only a 10 min drive to sample and buy..

Within 30 min drive of Swiss riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva, Evian and Montreux for Rock and Jazz festivals and the historic Chateau Chillon.

Villars is an award winning 4 season resort. its south facing proximity boasts over 300 days of sunshine. It is a family friendly ski resort with altitudes of 1400-3200km with 200km of pistes for all abilities. it is possible to ski to Glacier 3000, via Diablerets, skiing until June and also into Gstaad. In winter it is possible to ski back to the apartment. In the summer there are 2 golf courses , within a short train/ car trip with fantastic mountain and lake views.Villars has an array of other golf,sports facilities, swimming bowling paragliding and ice skating. There is a large selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and pockets. a car is not neceassary as Villars is easy accessible from Geneva airport by train ( 1hr 30 mins - 2 hrs ) or by car ( 1 hr 10 - 1hr 30 mins ) Montreux Evian and Lake Geneva are all 30 min by car.

How to get there

You can fly to Geneva airport with various airlines. Villars can be reached in 1hr 20 minutes by car or 1hr 30 minutes by train. The trains leave at the station which is part of Geneva airport. The trains go to Aigle and then you can take a short bus up to Villars village.

Prices for the apartment.

Linen is available at £70 per week. Final Cleaning is included in the price.

A £100 non-refundable deposit per week is required to secure the booking and the balance is paid 8 weeks before departure.

A £100 breakages/ lost keys deposit should be paid with the balance in a separate cheque which will be refunded after a satisfactory final inspection.
