With its beautiful typical Swiss Chalet exterior this larger property sits serenely gazing over green valley’s in summer and acres of snow in winter to the snow capped peaks of the Swiss Alps.
Not just a pretty face Le Torrent measures up on the practicalities front too. A large comfortable main lounge with open log fire and fabulous mountain views and open plan dining area with seating for 12 convivially placed adjacent to the well equipped modern kitchen mean no one is left out when the glories of the day are recounted. There is also a further lounge and dining area and additional kitchen on the ground floor providing ideal facilities for teenagers or older guests. There are 6 spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage space and handy vanity sinks. The 3 smart modern bath plus shower rooms provide ample opportunity for a relaxing soak or invigorating shower. There is also a warm ski/boor room for all equipment storage needs.
The location ensures peace privacy and convenience. A 300m walk brings you to one of the area’s most popular new restaurants. A 5 min drive west takes you to the Telecabine and the full amenities of Barboleusaz village. A 5 min drive east however takes you to a different world of pure nature and the raw majesty of the Vaud Alps and their vast recreational possibilities at your toe tips.

The ground floor with its secondary kitchen and lounge/dining room and own bathroom with french doors to the terrace makes Le Torrent ideal for two family groups or mixed age groups. This floor also has its own entrance can be totally self contained if preferred.
The main living area in addition seats/dines the full capacity of the chalet.
Each bedroom has a mountain view (five full one partial) and 2 have balconies.

The grounds are extensive and include a beautiful natural spring flowing over mini waterfalls. There is a large terrace area for sunbathing and a good sized flat garden area for relaxing or playing. The chalet has wonderful unobstructed mountain views.
The chalet is reached by a tarmac lit drive and has parking for 2/3 vehicles in addition to 1 garage and additional parking space below the chalet.
The drive is cleared after each major snowfall
Villars-Gryon Freedom Pass gives free access to the Gondolas, Cog Train, Sports Centre inc Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pools Ice Skating and more

25% Deposit payable on booking. Remainder and refundable Security/Damages Deposit of £350.00 due 8 weeks prior to commencment of booking or at time of booking if within 8 weeks. Security/Damages Deposit refunded via bank transfer wtihin 7 days of completion of booking subject to any necessary deductions in accordance with contract.
Keys collected from local agents during opening hours being Mon to Friday 9.00 am till 12.00 Noon and then 2.00pm till 6.00 pm and Saturday 9.00am to 12.00Noon then 3.00pm till 6.00pm Sunday Closed.
The Swiss Alps / Vaud/Lake Geneva/Swiss Alps region
The majesty of the Swiss Alps and the 'Riviera' feel of the Lake Geneva area combine to provide almost endless possibilities for holiday pursuits.
In winter choose between whizzing down one of many ski runs of all levels in the extensive ski areas, snowshoeing, parapenting or hot ballooning.
In Spring or Summer stroll through one of the many lakeside towns such as charming Vevey or Montreux with its legendary Jazz Festival, or visit stunning Chateaux de Chillon or medieval Castle Aigle with its winemaking museum for some history. Try Winetasting at one of the local vineyards or watch Cheesemaking in picturesque Gruyere.
There are many golf courses within 30 mins including the challenging mountainside course in Villars itself.
Children’s facilities abound - Villars-Gryon is one of four 'Families Welcome' resorts in the area and AquaParc with 1500sqm of water based fun even has its own beach!
Trips to Evian source of the famous water take just an hour along a scenic route through more lakeside villages and towns.

The Villars, Switzerland / Barboleuse area
Located in the French speaking part of Switzerland overlooking vineyards the Villars-Gryon region has an enormous variety of things to do. Villars is a lively but family oriented year round resort with many restaurants, shopping for beautiful home wares, delicious pastries and chocolates and all items necessary for winter and summer sports. The train from Villars takes you up the mountain to skiing or walking at Bretaye and access to the main ski area. There are 25 km of cleared paths for walking and snowshoeing and non-skiers can enjoy a beautiful walk in the sunshine around the lake of Bretaye at 1800 metres.
Barboleusaz itself has its own telecabine to transport you directly to the mountain with 220 kms of pisted skiing plus the famous offpiste on the doorstep and the Glacier at Les Diableret. There is also convenient access to Verbier (45 mins) and Portes Du Soliel (40mins) for even more choice.
The further facilities of Barboleusaz including a great boulangerie/ patisserie and tearoom, ski/boot/bike hire, supermarket, bar and more restaurants, tourist information and a train station mean trips to Villars or futher afield are by choice not necessity.
