The Costa de Almeria region
Said to have the finest weather in Europe, Almeria has it’s own “micro-climate” creating a healthy environment and is blessed with over 350 days of sunshine each year!
The Almeria coast stretches for over 100 miles, with sandy beaches, quiet coves and dramatic cliffs. Inland there are traditional villages with "sugar cube" houses, and historic castles perched on cliffs rising into the blue cloudless skies.
Villaricos area
On the northern coast of Andalucia, between Garrucha and Aguilas, lies the small fishing village of Villaricos. The Sierra Almangrera Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop. Villaricos is a charming traditional fishing village with a promenade and two marinas where PADI diving school trips can be aranged and a glass bottomed boat sails from. There are bars, restaurants and shops.
There are plenty of great attractions ideal for days out. There are two sandy beaches,one with a "chiringuito" beach bar. Parque Aquatico Waterpark is located on the road to Vera, only 5 minutes drive away. Mini Hollywood recreates the magic of the Wild West at the site where many films were shot, such as “A Fistful of Dollars” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” starring Clint Eastwood. There are horseriding and gunfight shows daily at noon and 5 p.m.
There are four major golf courses within a short drive: Desert Springs, Valle del Este, Marina de la Torre and Cortijo Grande.
How to get there
Almeria airport is 50 minutes away Murcia (San Javier) airport is about 90 minutes away using the new toll road Alicante has the widest selection of flights and is about 2hrs drive.

Further details indoors: The Apartment is tastefully furnished and well equipped. The accommodation comprises of a lounge with ceiling fans, fitted kitchen, 1 double bedroom with en-suite; 1 twin bedroom; 1 family bathroom.
A shaded terrace to the front has a dining table and chairs, leading through gate to pool area. Small sun terrace to rear.
Satellite T.V with U.K. channels and Stereo radio/CD/cassette player with connection for MP3 player.
The Apartment sleeps up to four adults. Linen and towels are included in the letting price, with the exception of beach towels. There is a washing machine for guest use.
Further details outdoors: The pool area provides a peaceful oasis, with attractive gardens and Moorish architecture. The large roof terraces afford views to the sea and of the Almangrera mountains inland. There are gates to front and rear of the complex, with an intercom access system. There is easy level access from the rear car park, with just a couple of steps to negotiate.

A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before departure. A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is also required.
