Vera only 5 minutes drive away has a water park and miles of blue flag beaches,a great day out for all the family.
4 golf courses within a 15 min drive,including the superb Desert Springs golf resort.

“Great apartment with lovely pool!” Stayed at La Fortaleza with 3 teenagers. Lovely spacious and well equipped apartment. We had concerns about no air con but ceiling fans were really effective. The girls loved the pool and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach later in the day.

“Great place to stay and great location” 2nd visit and still as great, apartment & complex very well maintained & clean ,safe and secure .The village of Villaricos is just so lovely & very Spanish ; with bars and eateries and a great beach and even a sunday market. I have used the apartment twice now once with another 2 couples (they were there for the golf) and 2nd with my sister, Mother & grandkids, as the apartment is on the ground floor it was ideal for Mother & small children or anyone with walking difficulties.. It really has everything you would want 2 bathrooms lovely patio area well stocked kitchen & free easy parking, I also found driving to the near towns and villages a pleasure as the roads are well signposted.. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment to anyone - No wifi but not a problem as a short drive to the millionairs bar with free wifi and an excuse to have an afternoon beer (if you need an excuse on hols, that is )
