Home description

A comfortable superbly well equipped apartment situated on the high quality Harbour Lights development. Features include SWIMMING POOL, JACUZZI, SATELLITE TV & DVD player. Harbour Lights is situated right on the sea front by the marina in Villaricos.

The apartment is on the ground floor overlooking the swimming pool area. There is access to two further courtyards with fountains & communal jacuzzi. A 50-yard stroll takes you out to the sea front and the marina. Miles of sandy beaches can be found at the other end of the village, some 5 mins walk away.

The Costa de Almeria region

Almeria is the sunniest region of Spain with the least rainfall. The weather is generally dry for 48 weeks of the year sun can even be expected in January & February. Summers are long & hot, generally lasting from April to October most years.


Villaricos / Almanzora area

Villaricos is a very old fishing village which still retains much of is original character. Fishing is still a vital part of village life. There are restaurants & bars within the village & several smaller supermarkets.
Villaricos has 2 shingle beaches within a 2 min walk & a long sandy beach at the other end of the village - 5 min walk. More sandy beaches can be found either side of the village, at the resorts of Vera, Garrucha, Mojacar & San Juan - all within 15 mins drive. There is also a very large AQUAPARK a 5 min drive away at Vera.

Larger supermarkets & shops can be found within a 5-10 min drive of Villaricos
There is an INTERNET cafe within a 3 min walk of the harbour.

It is an excellent coast to explore with the cities of Almeria & Muricia only an hours drive away.

GOLFERS will find that Villaricos is ideally situated, having 4 golf courses within a 15 min drive, including the fantastic DESERT SPRINGS golf resort.

The area is very popular with divers, hence 2 DIVING centres in Villaricos within 100yds of the apartment.

Villaricos is ideally situated for hill walking locally, approx 30 min drive to Cabo Gato National Park & 1.5 hours drive to the Alpujarra foothills

We are flexible with arrival/departure days/times, however, we may have to apply arrival/departure times during busier periods if we have another client arriving/departing on the same day.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Villaricos. We had such a relaxing enjoyable week. Your apartment is just lovely and so perfect for families. It is such a lovely location and the setting with pool and facilities are excellent. We enjoyed exploring the area and had a fun day at Mini Hollywood, and enjoyed the local markets too. We really really enjoyed our week at your apartment in the Harbour Lights complex. It was great to have the swimming pool so close - the children just loved it and met up with some other kids around the pool which always helps.
Your apartment was super - clean, very well kitted out and was family friendly too which is all we can ask as a tenant for a week.
Our favourite restaurant was El Mar La Mar at the other end of the village where we had a great meal / night out. Had a day at the Aqua Park which we all thought was brilliant, liked the beach at San Juan and Mojacar was a good day out too. Your agent was very helpful & the welcome pack was great
