Originally an old hunting lodge, this property has been lovingly reformed respecting the traditional building style of Andalucia. and is now a spacious, comfortable family home with all modern amenities. The lodge sits in 5 acres of rural land, amongst almond, olive and oak trees.

The location of the lodge is secluded and private, although it is only 4klm from the bustling white village of Villanueva de la Concepcion, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants , banks, medical centre etc. The perfect place for friends and family to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday in the glorious Andalucian countryside.The lodge has two floors with very spacious living accommodation.There are four good-size bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Two living rooms a dining room and large kitchen .

Outside there is a large enclosed courtyard , perfect for al fresco dining in the summer months and two lower south facing terraced levels which bring you to the swimming pool, which is a generous 8m x 4 m .The lodge is very well equipped throughout with all modern kitchen appliances, and cooking utensils, there is a barbecue on the terrace. For winter months the house has central heating. Because of its high location – 500 metres above sea level, the nights are balmy and comfortable, even in summer months , so air conditioning is not necessary, although fans are provided for the bedrooms.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Located just 40 minutes inland from Malaga and 16klm South of Antequera in the heart of rural Andalucia and in the El Torcal Natural Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The summers in this region are very pleasant, at an altitude of 800 m. the days are hot , yet not humid and nights are always balmy with soft breezes. For nature lovers there are many walks , all clearly marked , along old goatherders' trails, the spectacular Lakes of El Chorro, make a great day out for the family, fishing and swimming and picnicking . The Laes of Fuente de Piedra are the breeding ground for as many as 5,000 pairs of pink flamingos. The El Torcal Park is famed for its birds of prey and many species of wild orchids. The beaches of the Costa del Sol and all that the Costa has to offer are in easy reach - just a 40 minute drive .

Villanueva de la Concepcion is tour local village, a bustling market town, it offers a great selection of incredibly reasonably prices bars and restaurants , shops, supermarkets , bakery, banks, chemist and 24hr medical centre. Local weekly street market and in the summer there are fiestas and events going on most weekends.

Antequera our nearest large ton, is just 16klm away , It has an 18 hole golf course , lots of shops and several hypermarkets , Dating back to Roman times, the old town has a Moorish castle, Roman baths , and wealth of glorious Rennaisance churches and museums. The is a bullring and there ar bullfights held throughout the year.
