Beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are the main theme of this delightful property, stunningly furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Finca del Rio derives its name from the fact that it lies alongside a wonderful valley which has water running most of the year. The wild flowers in Springtime are spectacular. The views from the pool area and covered terraces are beautiful.
The house has an almost perfect location, private, easily accessible and in walking distance of a small hamlet, which offers a couple of shops and a small restaurant/bar. If you are a nature lover, then the fabulous El Torcal NAtural Park , which is just a few minutes away, will delight you. Full of birds of prey, rare orchids and extraordinary rock formations . the surrounding countryside has many specially designated walks. Lovers of culture and art wont be disappointed either, with the Roman town of Antequera just 16klm away and the fabulous Picasso museum in Malaga 45 minutes drive.

Villanueva de la Concepcion , know local as the “ Villa del Torcal “ because of its close proximity to the stunning El Torcal Natural Park. A thriving , bustling village of 6,000 inhabitants, which traditionally has its roots in agriculture, but has seen many locals successfully making the transition to more modern and profitable Businesses. Today, alongside the goat herders and farms, you will see builders merchants, web designers and all manner of commercial enterprises thriving side by side.
Village life moves at a leisurely pace , there is always time for a chat with a neighbour, a browse around the Monday street market, to purchase your fruits and vegetables, a tapa in the local bar or just sit on a park bench and enjoy the breathtaking views from every angle of the village.

Further details indoors: The main entrance opens onto a large open plan living/dining room withopen fireplace and an "open plan kitchen area. Fully equipped, one will want for nothing!! There are four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins) and two fully fitted bathrooms (both with a hydro-massage bath!!). All fixtures and fittings are made by a local carpenter and the property is filled with character. The lay out of the bedrooms is so that there are two separate bedroom wings located to each side of the living room. Each wing has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and a bathroom between the rooms.
Further details outdoors: Finca del Rio is designed for outside living, the house has a very lareg covered terrace which looks towards the swimming pool. Buit into the terrace area is a purpose built barbeque with sink and food preparation area. A huge wood dining table and chairs are a real focal point for outdoor dining. The swimming pool is well designed. Thatched wood parasol line the terraces surrounding the pool ans goos quality sunbeds for 8 people are provided. The pool is `picked fenced for safety, but without spoiling the views in any way.
