Casa Muralla is a traditional Spanish townhouse reformed to a high standard in 2009. The property maintains its charm whilst providing you with all of the benefits of a modern home. The front door opens into a spacious lounge which contains 3 leather sofas and satellite TV. At the rear of the property is a contempory kitchen with dining area. You will also find shower room off this area.
Upstairs there is a further bathrom with both a bath and hydro massage shower. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and the other with bunk beds. The master has a 'Juliet' balcony.
From this floor a staircase leads to the roof terrace with stunning view across to roof tops to the rolling olive groves beyond. Ideal for al fresco dining or just lounging in the sun.
You will also have full use of the owners pool just a short stroll away. Just look at the photos, could you resist?

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The area is full of history with the historic towns of Granada, Cordoba and Antequera within easy reach. We can give advice on things to do whilst you are staying at Casa Mualla. The beaches of the Costa del Sol are within easy reach.
For those of you whom are a little more energetic there are many signed walking routes nearby. We can arrange quad bike tours and birdwatching and for those lazy days visit the beach at Lake Iznajar. Why not relax and undwind in traditional comfort, in rural Spain; away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. This is an ideal base if you wish to have a taste of Spain's history; or enjoy skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains; or have day on a beach of your choice, rather than going to the same one each time! There are Spanish festivals on in each town throughout the year but mainly during the summer months, where you can sample typical Spanish culture. The festivals, (known as ferias) always offer free entertainment, paid for by the local Town Hall, normally incorporating flamenco singing and dancing; other types of traditional Spanish dancing and it is normal to have free paella and free-flowing booze on one particular day.
Antequera has an 18 hole golf course with 10 lakes, I am told it can be challenging.
We can assure you that you will not have time to fit everything in there is that much to do.
Villanueva De Algaidas / La Atalaya area
Villanueva de Algaidas is the largest town in the area and has a fine choice of bars and restuarants, many less expensive than on the Costas.
You will find 2 supermarkets selling local produce at a fraction of the cost in the UK. You will find ATM machines at all of the local banks.
How to get there
The area is served by many budget airlines flying into both Málaga and Granada, just 50 minutes away. Try www.skyscanner.net for the cheapest deal from your local airport. You will more than likely hire a car and we recommend www.holidayautos.co.uk.

The village of La Atalaya has 2 bars, 2 shops and a bakery. The town of Villanueva de Algaidas is just 5 minutes away and has bars, restaurants, banks, medical centre, dental surgeries and supermarkets.

You can start your holiday on any day of the week. The minimum rental period is 7 days. You may book the length of stay to suit flights; we just pro-rata the weekly rate to arrive at a daily rate.
