Home description
The property is just over 2 years old and has only recently been tastefully furnished in a modern style. Everything is on one level (apart from the roof solarium). It has 2 bedrooms(twinned) and 2 bathrooms (one en suite). The front entrance opens into an arched hallway which leads to a spacious lounge/dining area that has everything that you need for a comfortable stay.
The lounge leads out to a tiled terrace with table and chairs,the perfect place to enjoy that breakfast cuppa, a cool glass of wine or simply to just relax and read. Steps from the terrace lead either down to the pool for that lazy dip or up to the solarium for that soak in the sun.No doubt you will take advantage of both throughout your stay.
The shared pool is both quiet and relaxing.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca, on the east coast of Spain, is famous for its fabulous climate and Blue Flag beaches.The average temperature being 24 degrees. It is a region that offers all things to all people.If you are a golfer, a gourmet, a sun worshipper, a rambler or party person then look no further, this is the place for you.
The area is dotted with challenging golf courses,a wide choice of restaurants, beautiful sandy beaches, lovely walks and a lively night-life. Las Ramblas is ideally placed for all of those and is served by 2 airports, Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante, only 25 and 40 minutes away respectively. Excellent road links make the huge number of places to see and explore, be it the countryside or the coast, easily accessible.
Villamartin / Las Ramblas Golf Course area
Las Ramblas is one of 3 GOLF COURSES close to the property.It is the most challenging of the three but well worth the effort. It is undoubtedly the most delightful,with lush woodland, dry ravines and natural beauty to enjoy on your round. The course has only recently been totally refurbished. Its new clubhouse,(NOW FULLY OPEN), is just a 5 minute walk away. Nearby is the green and lush Campoamar course and a little further on is the more famous Villamartin course. La Manga and many other golf courses, to suit all handicaps, are short drives away.
The popular plaza at Villamartin offers a WIDE CHOICE OF RESTAURANTS, cafes and bars and nearby at Cabo Roig there is yet another opportunity to sample different cuisines. Spain is famous for its tapas, why not try some when you are out and about.
A NEW COMMERCIAL CENTRE(La Fuente) has just opened up outside Las Ramblas,approximately only 15 minutes walk and here you can find a varied selection of restaurants and bars. Other shops/supermarkets are readily available in the immediate area.
If golf isn't your passion why not visit the many BLUE FLAG BEACHES located only 10 minutes drive away and enjoy the many activities they have to offer. A trip to the Mar Menor is a must where you can experience its warm, shallow, waters. Great for children.
LOCAL MARKETS can be found on almost any day in the Costa, selling virtually anything you want. The one on Playa Flamenca is probably the largest and most popular but my favourite is in San Pedro. It's much more Spanish.
Torrevieja, only 15 minutes away, is a thriving town,has a lovely promenade and 2 SALT LAKES nearby with a bird reserve and its pink flamingoes.
For the more adventurous why not TRAVEL FURTHER AFIELD to the beautiful city of Murcia itself and see the splendour of its architecture or visit the town of Guardamar, famous for its beaches and festivals. The town of Elche and its numerous palm trees are a sight to behold...one of my favourite places.Benidorm, approximately 1 hour away, has lots to offer, Terramitica theme park, Mundomar marine park and its exciting night-life. The historic city of Cartegena and its lovely harbour is only a 40 minute drive.
Don't fancy driving then why not check out the free local papers found outside many of the shops etc where you will have a choice of EXCURSIONS/COACH/BUS TRIPS etc to many places of interest at reasonable prices...some are even free!
For your convenience I have compiled comprehensive folders that contain INFORMATION on places to visit, where to eat,activities to try, golf course details etc and even directions on how to get there. Just spend a little time browsing through them and I'm sure you will find lots to enjoy. There's something for everyone!
How to get there
Las Ramblas Golf Complex is situated close to Villamartin and is approximately 20 minutes from San Javier(Murcia airport or 45 minutes from Alicante. Both airports are served by all the budget airlines.
Car hire is readily available and I would personally recommend using www.carjet .co.uk or www.doyouspain.com.Better rates can be achieved if you book on line before travelling.
Local taxis are also available. Airport pickups can be arranged.

Further details indoors: There are two soft, leather settees, one of which easily converts into a comfortable double bed. There are matching pouffees and one box chair for extra seating. A coffee table, a nest of tables, shelves and a dining table, that seats six, completes the furniture. The separate kitchen is fully equipped (see list).
The floors are all marble and there is air conditioning in all rooms(hot and cold) with ceiling fans in the bedrooms as an extra aid for those balmy nights.Satellite television is also provided and has all the main UK channels and many others(50 channels). There is a wide selection of DVDs/CDs/BOOKS for your further enjoyment.
Property is alarmed.
Kitchen also has an ironing board, a filter coffee machine and a steamer. First aid kit and adaptors are provided. There is an Ipod Docking Station available. 2 sets of golf clubs(RH) + gloves,tees, balls,shoes(size 10) etc for your use free of charge.
Simplified instructions on how to use all appliances. Folders with detailed information/leaflets etc on where to go,eat, visit etc. Maps/books of area also provided.
Beach gear i.e towels,chairs,loungers,games etc free for you to use. Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside drawers.
Further details outdoors: Large Solarium overlooks the pool and has table/chairs and 4 sun loungers available. Also excellent outdoor electric,easy to use table grill. Ideal for cooking sausages.burgers,steaks,fish etc.Easy clean.No messy charcoal.Private and excellent for sunbathing/alfresco dining etc. One area is partly shaded.
Property is in a quiet location with shared pool...not busy. There is a children's play area a short walk away.
Opposite the property there is a Japanese style garden with seating,water and fountains. Las Ramblas clubhouse, due to open soon, offers restaurant dining and bars...5 minute walk.

A deposit of £100 per week is required to secure your booking.
The balance of your rental is required 6 weeks prior to your departure date.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in August 09.The 3 weeks we stayed there were absolutely fantastic, especially with having the comforts of your property.We have no complaints about anything as everything that we possibly needed was there and more. I would recommend your apartment to my friends and we also hope to return in 2010.The apartment was lovely with its roof terrace, balcony and pool right outside and at times it felt very private.We met some lovely people during our stay,all of them were owners of the apartments around us.Danny,Laura and I would like to thank you very much for your kindness. Stayed 10 days in early September 09 and enjoyed fantastic weather.The property is in a very pleasant,quiet location,well situated, with all amenities and good choice of bars,restaurants,golf courses and beaches...within walking distance or a few minutes drive.Well located to visit places of interest in the surrounding area, with good road network enabling places further afield to be easily reached.The property is decorated to a high standard and is very well equipped with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay.We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked for the same time next year!
