Excellent first floor 2 bed apartment can sleep up to 6. American style kitchen diner which makes it great for families and couples alike. Marble floors throughout and quality fixtures and fittings.

Excellent base to explore Murcia and Alicante with easy access to the AP7 and N332. La Zenia beach 10 mins drive with other blue flag beaches a further 5 mins. Las Alcazares along the Mar Menor is 30 mins drive but well worth visiting. Great for golfers with Villamartin and 3 other courses within 30 mile radius.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Alicante is main city with cosmopolitan bars and restaurants including a new marina area. Best to go just a few streets away from the main road and find tapas bars heaving with locals at weekends. Torrevieja is nearer and has a thriving nightlife. Good for families especially at fiesta time and also has a Pacha nightclub. Nearer still is Cabo Roig with long line of bars and restaurants. Further south is Mar Menor and La Manga. Murcia is an hours drive and has an impressive river scuplture. Excellent blue flag beaches all along the coast.

Villamartin / Las Violetas area

Villamartin has a golf course and the very well known Plaza with a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Useful supermarket crammed with local produce as well as UK goods. Other shops include hairdressers, jewellery, shoes and takeaways. 5 mins drive to La Zenia beach and can walk round to two further beaches. Recommend driving down to Mar Menor and particularly Las Alcazares.

How to get there

Closest airport Murica 20 minutes, Alicante 40 minutes. From San Javier take N332 north until the main La Zenia beach roundabout. Go straight ahead taking signs for urbanizacion villamartin. Go past the golf course and plaza and right at top of hill after the plaza. Go straight over two roundabouts and then second left turn. Las violetas 10 yards on your right with parking. Ryanair fly to Murcia as do Jet2. More frequent flights to Alicante including BMIbaby. Easy 40 minutes south along N332 or take toll road AP7 which comes out just after the La Zenia beach roundabout (toll 6euros)

New kitchen has everything for a self-catering holiday withall cutlery, plates etc provided. Bathrooms have marble floors with 1 en suite. British TV channels provided and DVD/CD player. Both bedrooms tastefully furnished with fitted wardrobes with ample space. Hangers and a safe provided. Property is secure and has exterior blinds.

Communal pool within easy access which is quiet and has a shallow area for children. Garden around the pool also available to use. External parking next to the apartment. Rooftop solarium also available.
