Home description
Our three storey 2 bedroom Townhouse is the ideal holiday destination for you and your family. Secluded in a friendly neighborhood the house is fully furnished with all the home comforts you would expect in your own house.
The House:
We purchased this superb town house in March 05, prior to buying it it was owned and used infrequently by a German couple who furnished it lovingly and tastefully leaving nothing out. From the rear of this well equipped house is the garden with patio area for lunching and a beautiful swimming pool suitable for all ages.
We have recently installed air conditioning to the master bedroom. The house is child friendly, the back garden is enclosed with gate and for older children they can still be kept insight while you sip your vino blanco (white wine) and they enjoy the pool.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Torrevieja is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. Beautiful sandy beaches, Europe's biggest salt flats bursting with bird life, historic sites and a huge variety of Spanish and international restaurants.just a very few of the reasons to book a holiday here.
The resort is just 35 kilometres south of Alicante's international airport, El Altet. Flights from London take about two and a half hours. The easy access to Torrevieja for foreign visitors and its wide range of facilities and attractions make this a popular year-round holiday destination.
The town is located at the southern end of the Valencian community and is famous for the two huge saltwater lagoons which surround it. These "Salterns of Torrevieja" are the second biggest in the world and certainly the largest in Europe. The lagoons have been designated as national parks and are an impressive sight, attracting more than 250 bird species including flamingoes. The flats have been used for salt production since Roman times and still provide salt for export worldwide.
Villamartin / Los Dolses area
In Roman times this area was well known for its outstanding port. The remains of the "embarcadero romano" (Roman Docks) can still be seen near the ancient watch tower of La Mata.
Torrevieja used to be the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean and still boasts one of Spain's best yacht clubs, with berths for 1,500 boats. In fact the town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports - there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis and a variety of other sports.
There's a good variety of shops and the major commercial centre of Alicante is only 47 kilometres to the north. Torrevieja also has a bull ring - still a favoured attraction for the Spanish - a water park, fairground, theatre and several cinemas.
Fiestas are held here most months of the year when tourists mingle with the locals to party in the streets in true Spanish-style.
Visit in August and you'll be able to enjoy the weeklong "Habaneras" festival - a major international music competition which attracts a live and television audience of hundreds of thousands of people. Las Habaneras are a celebration of the Latin American music and rhythms brought to Torrevieja in the 19th century through the port's salt-trading links with Cuba.
For "foodies", Torrevieja is a gastronomic paradise with a mouthwatering variety of restaurants of all kinds. Along with the local fresh fish restaurants and typical cuisine of the region you'll find a wealth of international restaurants - Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Serbian, Croatian.to name but a few!
