With beaches, markets, theme parks, historical sites, sailing, fishing and so much more - this is a holiday destination that caters for everyone.
Villamartin / Pinada Golf area
BEACHES
This heavenly coast has sand that is so soft and white that it inspired the name for the region - Costa Blanca! The blue, crystal waters are memorizing and it’s hardly surprising so many people fall in love with the area and want to come back again and again. The beaches have the European Blue Flag seal of approval to honour their cleanliness and safety.
The Torreviejan coast is made up of such famous names as Coba Rioja, La Mata, El Acequion, El Cura Los Naufragos and Los Locos. It’s great for swimming, surfing, wind surfing, sailing, snorkling as well as kite flying and sunbathing. Boasting one of the warmest climates in Europe, the average annual temperature tops 20 degrees centigrade making it a haven for sun worshippers.
If you are more of a boating enthusiast don’t miss the chance to visit the Real Club Nautico of Torrevieja and the Puerto Deportivo Marina Internacional where there are more than 1500 mooring places. They provide a real spectacle..especially when the Royal family pull up for a spot of golf. Why not hire your own boat.
The Torrevieja Townhall Sports Centre has an olympic race tracks, squash, tennis, football, gymnasiums, sauna and much more. Torrevieja also has a bull ring, fairground, theaters and several cinemas.
Step back in time and visit the wealth of historical sites and monuments. The enclosure of the “Eras de la Sal” is an ancient salt yard where the popular Habanera festivals are held. Tour the many religious buildings such as the Archipriestal Church, the Holy Weele museum and others. Visit the Silleria bridge in the “Acequion” of Torrevieja or the Roman docks and watch towers of La Mata.
The "Salterns of Torrevieja" are the largest salt lakes in Europe and have been designated as national parks. They attract more than 250 bird species including flamingos. They still provide salt for export worldwide.
Shopping at the local markets really is a pleasure here. It’s not just the bargains you can find, but all the colours, smells and sounds that make them a fun trip for all the family. Leather goods, particularly handbags are beautifully made and colourful ceramics make wonderful souvenirs.
Almost every month there is some sort of festival or carnival where you can party with the locals . The colour, music and pageantry provide a wonderful spectacle and a real insight into the culture and traditions of the region.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION Banks Most banks have ATM cash machines, so there's no problem getting cash with Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Cirrus and Link etc. The nearest ones to the apartment are in the Villamartin complex, so you don't have to go into town to get money. Many of the banks have English speaking staff where you can cash travelers cheques or change currency. Most restaurants and leisure activities can be paid for by credit card.
There are numerous giant hypermarkets such as Carrefour, Mercaona and the Spanish chain Todotodo including a supermarket just down the road. Here you can find many international produces as well as a delightful range of the traditional Spanish sausages, meats, breads and other foods.
How to get there
There is an excellent network of motorways linking all the major towns. Some are toll roads but its worth paying the small fee because you can really put your foot down.
Torrevieja is easily accessible from the International airports of El Altet (Alicante) and San Javier (Murcia). Good coastal links on the A7 motorway allow for fast travel north and south and good roads inland take you to Madrid.

Further details indoors: The living/dining room is spacious yet cosy. The double French doors provide access to a large balcony with patio furniture for al fresco dining. The lounge features a television set, coffee table, dining table and chairs to seat 6 and a comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and huge built-in pine cupboards providing plenty of space for clothes and luggage. The two bedside units offer further drawer space as well as two reading lights. A fan is provided for extra comfort. The twin-bedded room is ideal for children or golfing mates. It features a bedside drawer unit with lamp and fan as well as pine built-in cupboards with plenty of storage space. The bathroom is attractively tiled throughout and has luxury fittings. The bath includes a shower with glass panel. There’s also a toilet, bidet, wash basin, mirror and corner storage unit. The fully fitted pine kitchen comes complete with a large fridge-freezer, oven and hob with 4 electric rings, extractor fan, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and all utensils needed to make anything from a simple breakfast to a culinary masterpiece. There’s a full range of cutlery, crockery and glasses catering for six people. A separate utility gallery provides a washing machine, multi-layer dryer, iron and ironing board.
Further details outdoors: SWIMMING POOL Just around the corner from the apartment there's a communal swimming pool and garden area. If you just want to read or sunbathe you don't have to go far.
VILLAMARTIN GOLF CLUB Many golf courses and clubs have pools for their customers, even if you have only popped in for a coffee. Check out the one at the Villa Martin golf club… its big and you can order a meal in the adjoining restaurant if you don't fancy cooking!
PARKING There is a parking area immediately in front of the apartment block. We recommend that you hire a car so you can make the best use of the facilities and explore the area. You can pick your car up at the airport and drop it back when you return for your flight home....so its really easy.
DINING AND SHOPPING The nearby Villa Martin complex has everything you need to make your stay complete. There is a wide selection of restaurants and bars and a bowling alley and other fun things for the kids to do. The supermarket, banks, post office and internet café ensure all your other needs are met.
OTHER GOLF COURSES This development is literally in the middle of three golf courses Villamartin, Campamoar and Las Ramblas. As you drive around you pass the fairways and greens. All three have excellent restaurants, bars and facilities which you can enjoy whether you are a golfer or not. These include schools with fully qualified instructors, trolleys, buggies, clubs and practice areas for hire. There's also medical services, social clubs, saunas and games rooms. Close to the apartment there's also a horse riding school and other cozy restaurants and bars.

The only other cost for your rental is £45 that the local agent charges for key collection, sheets, towels and cleaning service for the apartment per stay (not per person). This means the apartment will be cleaned and made up before you arrive as well as when you leave...so you don't have to worry about a thing. (N.B. They charge 30 Euros more if you arrive out of office hours. The agent's opening times are from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00, Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00.)
CONDITIONS
A non re-fundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure any booking with any remaining rental balance and the agent's key/cleaning fee is payable eight weeks prior to arrival. The rent and agent fee covers rental, electric, water, cleaning & bed linen. Please bring your own towels for use at the pool/ beach. Last minute bookings will be accepted providing a bank transfer for full payment and deposit is cleared before the arrival date.
A fully refundable damage/excess cleaning deposit of £100 is also payable before arrival. This is refunded on your return home, subject to the satisfaction of the key-holder that the apartment is left in the condition it was in when you arrived & all keys etc. returned. All rental rates are per week or part thereof.
If you have to cancel a booking within the six weeks of the booking, we will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. If re-letting is achieved, a full refund of the amount paid will be made. If re-letting is not possible, a reduced figure will be refunded, calculated at one sixth for each week of notice given.
Due to fire regulations we request that smoking is limited to the balcony seating area.
EC ruling now states that all holiday-makers must have full travel insurance. Please make sure you take out adequate travel insurance against cancellations, loss of belongings, accident...etc. when you make your booking with us.
