The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Close to Villamartin are numerous beaches with magnificent views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean, and the “white soft sand” that is typical of the Costa Blanca, most beaches which line this coast are regularly awarded the European Blue Flag which is your guarantee of high standards and facilities for the whole family.
Visit the beautiful historical towns of Orihuela, Murcia and Elche, all of which have so much cultural heritage to discover, or enjoy exploring the quaint side street s and stop for a cool drink at one of the many cafés and restaurants around the cities and watch the world go by.
There are the beach resorts and shopping centres of Alicante, Santa Pola and Torrevieja which are considered a shoppers paradise , some shops being very sophisticated and others which are more unique to Spain. Do take a leisurely stroll through the smaller streets where the more interesting shops can be found. At night the towns are bustling with people leisurely enjoying the warm evenings and great night life these towns have to offer .
For those that wish to explore a little further the nearby road network will take you to Lamanga in the south and Benidorm in the North.
Spain is known for its festivals (fiestas) many of which originated in religious events but have evolved to be more general celebrations. Every city, town and village has its own festival which includes feasting, colourful processions, fireworks and partying. In all, this area has everything to offer the visitor and you can almost certainly guarantee that no matter what time of year you visit, you will be wrapped up in some kind of fiesta or celebration.

Villamartin / Lomas Del Golf area
Just a 10 minute walk from Villa Gracia is the Villamartin Plaza , with its prominent palm trees and feature mosaics this wonderful picturesque square has a fabulous collection of cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. A selection of shops and banks are also located in the Plaza. During the warm summer evenings there is a variety of entertainment provided in the square , and is a really enjoyable venue for both families and couples to eat , relax and generally enjoy that special time together.
There is Bowling in the local square, and a children's disco which is great fun for the little ones. Stables are a 2 minute walk from the property itself , book a ride with Mustapha the owner, his horses are available for the absolute beginner no matter what age, to those with more experience. A short drive down the road will lead you to the Go Carting, there are two types of cars, those for little ones and faster single and double cars for the older speedy types.
Want to have cold drink during the day or fancy a night cap , then call into the local Tapas bar around the corner where Luigi will welcome you and all the family. Have a family game of pool in his games room.
Fancy a day away from the pool or beach, then the Aqopolis Water Park may be for you, a fun day out with numerous rides, gentle water rides for the little ones or faster scarier rides for the brave.
The larger town of Torravieja is not just a great place to stroll in the evening but it has its own market every night which leads nicely to the fun fair on the edge of town.
The Villamartin development began in 1972 and has evolved into a splendid Mediterranean Village of 1500 apartments, townhouses and villas with three excellent 18 hole golf courses at its heart, including the original Club del Golf Villamartin a ten minute walk from the property and is considered by many to be one of the best golf courses in Spain.
For those that wish to explore there are many lovely medieval towns just waiting to be discovered , all with their own unique fiestas and markets that Spain is so famous for. Feeling active, then take part in horse riding,water parks, cycling or go carting , all these activities are close to hand with so much more to do during your stay. All within walking distance or just a short drive from the property.

Our property is well looked after and maintained by a friendly English couple who have lived in Spain for many years, they live very close to the complex itself. and will be at the property on your arrival and will ensure you are made to feel most welcome and comfortable to start your holiday.

The property will be available to you on the afternoon of your arrival and we ask our guests to vacate the property mid morning of the departure day, this is to ensure our management company can thoroughly clean and the property for the arrival of our next guests. However if the property is available you may book to stay for the whole day for the usual daily rate.
