A beautifully furnished apartment to suit all your needs. The balcony faces east and overlooks the large, shared pool, with a separate end specifically for the children. The large, private roof solarium has a shower, sunbeds and BBQ, perfect for catching the rays or dining al fresco. The apartment is in a secure, gated community so ideal for families with young children. With one double and one twin bedroom the apartment sleeps 4 comfortably, but can sleep another couple on the bed settee (plus one other on the pull-out bed but this is a squeeze!).
In an ideal location for three, excellent golf courses - Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. Within walking distance of small shops, a supermarket, bars and restaurants as well as La Fuente commercial centre. An eight minute drive away from the popular Villamartin Plaza – a beautiful, central quadrangle on two floors, full of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and prices. The newly built Zenia Boulevard shopping centre is just a 10 minute drive away and is a shoppers paradise with excellent restaurants and great facilities to keep the kids entertained.
Beaches in the area are La Zenia Beach – 15 minute drive; Cabo Roig Beach – 18 minute drive; Campoamor Beach – 20 minute drive. More beaches all along the coast a little further to drive. All beaches have café/bar facilities. Places to visit: Zenia Boulevard - Shops to suit all price ranges and shopping needs. The shops are air conditioned with the outdoor areas cooled by a mist sprayed from walls and overhangs. Ample free parking undercover or outside. Kids can play in the water jets in the main square and there is a large play area dedicated for children. Evening entertainment from 8pm every night with different genre each night and many excellent restaurants to choose from. The nearest main town is Torrevieja.
Torrevieja Market (Fridays) – 20 minute drive. There are local markets but would need to check local paper for details. Torrevieja Town – Large, bustling, cosmopolitan town with marina. Nightly street market and fun fair. Beautiful, new, modern area to the marina with trendy bars and restaurants. Aquopolis water park, Torrevieja Aquapark just outside of Torrevieja near Carrefour hypermarket. Lo Pagan, Mar Menor – therapeutic mud! - 15 minute drive. Mar Menor, La Manga – 40 minute drive. Cartagena historical city, naval port, 43km - 30 minute drive. Benidorm – 1 hour by car. Benidorm Palace, (excellent evening show/meal). Mundomar, Benidorm (beautiful marine life and bird park). Aqualandia, Benidorm (large water park, next to Mundomar). Terra Mittica, Benidorm (large theme park). Valencia (ancient, historic town) – 2 hour drive. Port Aventura (Universal Studios theme park), Salou – 3½ hour drive. Barcelona – 6 hour drive

Beautifully furnished and decorated in bright yellow and royal blue.
Fully equiped small, kitchen including, pots/pans, cooking utensils, combination microwave, 4 ring electric hob and fridge with freezer compartment.
Lounge/diner with solid pine table and chairs, matching wall units and large settee which easily reclines to make a double bed. CD/radio/cassette player. The flat-screen TV has HDMI connection and built-in DVD player but there is also a separate DVD player (no satellite available). Internet available at a small extra charge of 5 euros per week, payable on arrival if required.
Ample waldrobe and cupboard space in both bedrooms which are also attractively decorated in different colours. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and there are 3 additional electric fans for use.
Other items available onsite: separate free-standing airer; iron and ironning board; duvets for cooler, winter evenings and a free-standng radiator.

Separate table, chairs (with yellow cushions) and parasol for use on the balcony or the solarium. Four solid sun loungers on the roof solarium (two padded long lounger cushions for use) and an additional reclinning chair which can be used round the pool.
Cold water shower on the solarium, fixed clothes airer and small BBQ.
If you are off to the beach for the day there is a parasol, cool bags, beach mats and even a bucket and spade!
Parking space next to the apartment, inside the gated community.
Our local key holders, Derick and Jean, will meet and greet you at the apartment (no matter what time you arrive). They will make sure all facilities are working, give you the alarm code and answer any questions you may have. Derick and Jean will also be there for your departure to collect keys and to ensure facilities are turned off. They are always on hand as they are resident and live opposite the apartment.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony and solarium.
Wi-fi is available for a small charge of 5 euros per week, payable locally to Derick & Jean to receive the pass code.
Check In / Check Out Times
Please ensure that you check out before 11am on your departure date. Check in on arrival is after 3pm (15:00hrs).
These times must be adhered to in order that the apartment can be cleaned / bed linen changed etc for the next guests.
FOR 2015: Although there are spare towels and linen, only one set of each is covered in the cleaning costs included in the rental agreement. Additional towels and linen used must be washed during your stay using the washing machine provided or an extra fee can be paid to Derick & Jean for this service.
PLEASE NOTE: New prices for 2016 excludes the cleaning fee, therefore 45 euros will be payable by our guests locally to Derick & Jean, on arrival upon receipt of the keys. As above, extra linen and towels used must be washed by guests or are chargeable.
The Valenciana region
The Costa Blanca or 'White Coast' stretches for 200km along the eastern coast of Spain on the Mediterranean, from Gandia and Denia in the North on the Gulf of Valencia to Torrevieja and beyond in the south. Blessed by climate and geography, the region is a centre of tourist activity making the most of its abundance of clean beaches, many of which have been awarded the Blue Flag of Excellence, fertile river valleys and bountiful almond, orange and olive groves.Costa Blanca benefits from a consistent warm climate with temperatures varying from an average of around 27°C during the height of summer to approximately 11°C in the winter. It boasts a minimum of 300 sunny days a year and has been described by the World Health Organisation as among the healthiest climates in the world. Unsurprisingly then, the area is extremely popular as a holiday destination.
La Zenia is located on the Costa Blanca South just south of the major town of Torrevieja. La Zenia is a small but busy beach tourist resort. It has many restaurants, bars, shops and good facilities due to the number of people who live here all the year round. Clearly La Zenia is a great location for a beach holiday, you won't need to go anywhere else, as everything you need for a great family holiday in the sun is right here in La Zenia. Also road access to La Zenia is very good. The AP-7 autoroute (motorway) comes down from Alicante airport and goes south to Murcia San Javier airport. The N-332 goes directly through La Zenia and this also goes from Alicante airport in the north all the way down to Murcia San Javier airport to the south. To the south of La Zenia is Cabo Roig, further south is Campoamor, Pilar de la Horadada, San Pedro del Pinatar and La Manga. To the north of La Zenia is Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima, Residencia Los Altos and then Torrevieja. Villamartín is the name of both an urbanisation and a golf course in the Costa Blanca area of eastern Spain. It lies in the municipality of Orihuela, in the province of Alicante in the Valencian Community. The urbanisation of Villamartín is known for its central plaza located near to the Villamartin Golf Course. It consists of a bank, grocery store, doctor's office, a variety of bars, night clubs, cafés and restaurants, plus a number of apartments. The Plaza is built around a square that has a number of palm trees which are home to quite a few African Ring Neck Parrots. These parrots have achieved a celebrity status with the local tourists who are not used to the sight, and are seen as a pleasant addition to the area.

"Well positioned for amenities, with lovely pool (shame kitchen let it down)"
Although the apartment is well positioned for all amenities including bars, coastal resorts and beaches. The kitchen cleanliness let the apartment down (fat splashes on the utensils, grease marks around worktop)
I'm mortified to read this comment as we pride ourselves on first class cleanliness. I will discuss why this happened with the cleaners and can assure all our future guests this will not happen again. My apology is sent to the person who has sent this review.
