This beautifully furnished 2 bed/2 bath ground floor apartment is situated in the popular area of Villamartin. At 80sqm with a marble floor and open plan living space, it’s spacious and airy. There is a large communal pool, a balcony overlooking the gardens and a roof top terrace with fabulous views. Furnished to a very high standard with comfortable furniture the apartment has everything you could wish for including FreeSat TV broadcasting in English, DVD player, air-con, games, maps, books and tourist information.
The main bedroom has en-suite and large fitted wardrobes. The large patio doors lead out on to the balcony which overlooks beautiful manicured gardens. The second bedroom has twin beds and large fitted wardrobes.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner gives you a real sense of space. The kitchen is fully furnished with fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob, plus all crockery and cutlery. All linen and towels are supplied (except beach towels). Iron, ironing board and hair-dryer are also provided.
The balcony enjoys sunshine during the morning and then provides shade later in the day when it gets really hot. Overlooking the private gardens, it’s a great place for al fresco dining.
The communal pool has recently been completely re-tiled. There is an adjoining children’s pool, parasols and showers. Both the pool and gardens are maintained weekly and kept to a high standard by Carlos, the community gardener.

Prices include preparation of apartment & utility costs, Departure Clean 50€ & Laundry charges 10€ per/person payable on arrival.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required on booking. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the date of your holiday. A fully refundable security deposit of £150 is also required. This will be returned to you in full within 7 days of your departure subject to all keys being returned, there being no damage to the apartment and no excess cleaning required.
Cot and baby equipment hire can also be arranged. If you'd like a Welcome Pack (to include water, milk, tea/coffee, bread, cheese, etc) please ask and we'll arrange this for you for a small additional charge.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
If you haven't visited the Costa Blanca before then visit now, as this is a thriving coast with an appeal to young and old alike.This is a wonderful stretch of coastline offering miles of sandy blue flag beaches and blue skies. The climate boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. You have the choice to explore the numerous activities the coast has to offer. Fantastic golf courses, water sports, horse riding, tennis are just a few of the options.
The coast is full of protected wildlife reserves, around the Torrevieja saltpans the unique wetland eco system is an important nature reserve with flamingos, in total there are over 250 species of birds. Some of beaches are backed with sand dunes and Mediterranean Pines where you can always find a secluded spot.
There is something for the entire family, busy resorts, quiet fishing communities with numerous restaurants offering traditional Spanish cuisine, or if you prefer a wide range of international restaurants, bars and clubs.
There are bustling street markets where you can sample the local produce. The quality of life is vibrant and you can join in the fun at the many fiestas throughout the year.
The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area of Pau 8, Villamartin, on the Costa Blanca. The famous Villamartin Plaza is a short walk from the apartment. It has a large variety of cafes, restaurants and shops where you can sit outside under the palm trees and enjoy a drink or a meal. There is a new coastal bus service from the Villamartin Plaza to La Zenia and Playa Flamenca beaches, running every hour during the summer.
There are ample supermarkets in the area which always have fabulous choice of breads, cheeses, meats and fish. Needless to say the alcohol is a lot cheaper than the UK. For those who just have to surf the net or check up on emails, there are plenty of internet cafes.
The historic town of Torrevieja is just a few kilometres away and is surrounded by two salt lake lagoons. A typically ‘Spanish’ town, it has a large marina and a fabulous promenade where you’ll find Spanish families just strolling along on their evening walks. The promenade is a great place to sit and have a coffee whilst people watching! Fiestas and festivals take place here throughout the year but mainly at Easter and in the summer.
Torrevieja has a small daily bric-a-brac market near the marina and an excellent weekly market on Fridays. There are also good weekly markets in nearby Playa Flamenca, San Pedro and Guardamar. For those people who like to soak up a more historical & cultural atmosphere there are the attractive cities of Elche, Cartagena, Murcia & Alicante with their intoxicating mix of modern & ancient buildings, churches & museums.
You will literally be spoilt for choice as this stretch of the Costa Blanca boasts many blue flag, white, sandy beaches within a 5 minute drive. There are also secluded coves if you prefer a quieter sunbathing experience. There are climbing frames for the children at La Zenia and Campoamor beaches. Most of the beaches have beach bars serving tapas, drinks and ice-creams.
There are three golf courses near the apartment. The famous Villamartin Golf Club is a 10 minute walk away; this is a prestigious championship course where buggy and golf club hire are available. It has a swimming pool and superb club house for you to relax in. The club house and restaurant are open to non-golf players too. The Royal Golf Club in nearby Campoamor is worth a visit just to enjoy the stunning views and Las Ramblas, situated on the slopes of Blue Hills, is also highly recommended.
Scuba diving, tennis, cycling, go karts, Torrevieja Aquopolis water park, Terra Mitica theme park, mud baths at Mar Menor, fishing at La Pedra Reservoir, hot springs at Fortuna. There are lots of markets in the nearby small towns. And of course shopping!

My Partner and I stayed here in September 2012 for 10 nights. The apartment was a home from home - it had everything we needed. The lounge was very comfortbale as it has 2 large sofas so on the nights where you fancied staying in you could sit comfortably . There is a large TV that had all of the english channels . There are two bedrooms, one with on suite (brilliant powerful shower). The other bedroom has the main bathroom next to it. There is a balcony overlooking the gardens which is nice to sit on in the evening with food or a drink. The pool is within the gardens and is very well kept and has a shallow pool next to it if you have children. The kitchen was very well equipped and on the nights we decided to stay in to eat it had everything we needed. There was also a cool bag which we used every day to keep our water / food in on days out. The apartment has a washing machine too which is very handy. Villa Martin is a 5 minute walk away and has plenty of bars and restaurants - lots of choice. There are some great beaches nearby with all the amenities. We ventured out on a few of the days to places like Murcia, Ourehla (not sure if thats the right spelling) & Elche - these are all very interesting and cultural spanish towns all within about 20 - 45 mins drive away. Would definately recommend this apartment !

"Great value short break at beautiful apartment"
We wanted to stay somewhere near Villamartin due to the really good beaches for my wife and the excellent golf courses for me. A friend recommended this apartment which was owned by someone she worked with. On arrival we found the apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is well furnished and the owners have provided little extras such as books and DVD's should you wish to stay in. But we went to Spain for the glorious sun and sea. There are so many beaches just 5-10 minutes drive away. They are all wide and sandy with really good amenities such as beach bars, toilets, watersports. Most evenings we walked to the Villamartin Plaza where they have so many different restuarants to cater for every taste and budget. If you want somewhere family-orientated and relaxing that won't cost you the earth then Villamartin is a great place to go. We would definitely go back to stay at this apartment due its location, value and cleanliness.
