This well appointed, ground floor villa is located in a quiet area, and is set back away from the road, so is completely safe for kiddies. The Communal swimming pool is literally right on the doorstep, and the Villamartin Plaza with it's range of bars and restaurants is only a few minutes walk away. The property is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday just soaking up the sun by the pool, but there is plenty to see and do in the local area should you be feeling a bit more adventurous. There are many markets within a short drive, and the town of Torrevieja offers a large seafront promenande and ample opportunities for shopping. The golden sandy beach at La Zenia is also a short drive away.
Golfers too will find the property to be in an ideal location, with 3 championship golf courses - Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor - all within striking distance.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The climate of this area has been quoted by the World Health Organisation as being “the healthiest climate in Europe”, where you can enjoy 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature in December of 64° F.
The area is well-known for the vast quantities of salt that it produces, which makes the climate one of the best in Europe. The area is also a haven for wildlife, and the National Park at La Mata is well worth a visit.
Villamartin / Panorama Golf area
There are a host of beaches in this area, some quiet, some busy, and all with Blue Flags. The nearest is at La Zenia, a short drive away, and in July, August and the 1st week of September, a shuttle bus runs all day from Villamartin to the beach and back. There are many other beaches within a short distance, just head for the Sea and you are sure to find one to suit all tastes!
The nearest town, Torrevieja, is a mere 10-15 minute drive away, and retains its Spanish feel. Here you will find an abundance of restaurants and bars for your enjoyment. There is an evening craft market most evenings which stretches along the promenade, with a fair in the summer months. There is also an aquapark - a firm favourite with the Children!
Torrevieja means "Old Tower" in Spanish. Once a traditional Spanish fishing village, the recent redevelopment of the esplanade and the port area has proved to be a great tourist attraction.
There are Marinas at Torrevieja, Cabo Roig and Campoamor, where fishing and boat trips can be booked. Should you feel the need to travel further afield, Benidorm is approximately an hour and a half's drive away, with its famous Terra Mitica Theme Park. The ancient cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Elche are also within easy driving distance, and are well worth a visit.
The Villamartin Plaza, within easy walking distance, offers a wide range of bars and restaurants, all of which are very child-friendly, and you are sure to find something to suit everyone. Alfreso dining in the Plaza at night is a must! There are other bars also within a short walk, and slightly further afield are the Los Dolses and Rioja Commercial Centres, offering a further range of facilities.
How to get there
Villamartin is situated approximately 45 minutes drive South from Alicante, and 20 minutes drive North from Murcia, on Spain's Costa Blanca. Many of the low cost airlines now fly into the region from the majority of the UK's airports, so you should have no trouble in getting here. The Spanish road system is good and very easy to drive on, and car hire is readily available at reasonable rates.

Further details indoors: This well appointed villa has a large lounge/dining area with comfy sofa, air conditioning, and English Satellite TV so you won't miss any of your favourite shows. The kitchen leads off the lounge and is fully equipped, with washing machine, dishwasher, and all the crockery, pots and pans you will need. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two twin beds, and a third is a single. The master and twin bedroom benefit from air conditioning. There is also a full size family bathroom, plus a separate shower room with toilet.
Further details outdoors: Outside the property, the large communal swimming pool is literally right on your doorstep, ideal for keeping an eye on the kids. This is gated for extra security. There is a build in BBQ, plus stone table and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining. There is a wall around the exterior of the property, so the outside area is quite private. The property is set back from the road, so it is safe and quiet, and there is ample parking.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure booking, with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to departure. Lets of more or less than 7 or 14 days are fine (although we do ask for a minimum let of 3 days) and these will be priced on a pro-rata basis. Payments can be made by cheque, or directly into our bank account, details of which will be supplied once the booking is made. On arrival you will be met by our local contact, who will handover the keys, show you to the accommodation and who will be able to answer any queries you may have or provide further information on the resort and local area. On arrival, a payment of 150 Euros is to be made to our contact. 100 Euros is a key/security payment and is refunded in full when the keys are returned and subject to there being no damage reported. 50 Euros is to cover the cost of the cleaning prior to your arrival and after your departure. Normal check out is by 10:00 am and arrival after 16:00 pm, although other times can be arranged depending on availability of the accommodation prior to your arrival and after your departure. Again, please ask. The price is per week and not per person and includes full use of the pool, electric, water and laundry (of supplied bedding and towels). Please bring your own beach/pool and tea towels. Please note, Maid Service is on exit only.
