Home description

This is a lovely new apartment, near to the Villamartin Plaza and Golf Course. It is on the ground floor of a two-storey building. There is a south facing terrace and garden, which includes a driveway for off road parking. The front terrace and gazebo in the garden provide a shaded outdoor dining/barbecue area with a further spacious patio area and sun beds for sunbathing.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 is an en-suite shower room), a comfortable lounge and dining area, seating 6 and a modern well equipped kitchen. The adjacent communal pool area is right next to this block.

This apartment is ideally situated in a quiet location, just a 7 - 8 min. walk from the well established ‘Villamartin Plaza', where numerous bars, restaurants and a supermarket can be found.

This is an ideal base for golfing or family holidays with the sandy beaches of La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Cabo Roig only a short drive away.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca, with an average of 320 days of sunshine per year, is renowned for its beautiful Blue Flag beaches and spectacular coastline. The nearest beaches are at La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamoar and Playa Flamenca and various watersports and activities are available, with the obligatory beach bar nearby! From sandy beaches to secluded rocky coves with clear blue waters, sun-lovers will be spoilt for choice.

Of course, if golf is your hobby (or life!), the Costa Blanca is also renowned for its golf courses and within a few minutes drive are the excellent courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campomoar. La Finca and La Marquesa are only a short drive away.

For those looking for culture, visit the historical cities of Alicante, Murcia, Elche, Orihuela or Cartagena. to view the architecture and visit the museums.

Nature lovers will enjoy visits to the large salt lakes and nature parks near Torrevieja, to view a large variety of migrating birds, in particular the fabulous flocks of Pink Flamingoes.

Visit Torrevieja, take a walk along the promenade, visit the fun-fair (in summer) and the evening craft market, sit in one of the outdoor cafes along the sea-front with a long cool drink and just watch the world go by (as the Spanish do!) Late at night the bars and clubs will spring to life until the early hours.

Or head inland and explore the peaceful mountains and villages. Of course, there are street markets somewhere every day of the week, to shop for your bargains!

In fact, there is something here to suit all ages and tastes.


Villamartin area

In the immediate vicinity, besides the 'Villamartin Plaza', there are more various bars, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a Spanish Tapas bar on the corner (with a pool table for the kids!), where you can just sit and relax outside and watch the sunset with a very, very long drink!

For the more energetic, there are horse riding stables here also and beautiful country walks are possible. Just over the road there is a Bowling Club with bar and restaurant.

If you decide to hire a car to venture further afield, there are many inland villages and mountain areas to explore, besides the numerous beach resorts from Benidorm and the 'Terramitica Theme Park' down to La Manga and the Mar Menor with its many beaches in the sheltered lagoon.

Of course, there are Markets every day of the week in various towns and frequent Fiestas.

There is a choice of 2 Aquaparks, either in Torrevieja or nearby Ciudad Quesada.
Or maybe a boat trip to Tabarca island or a visit to a Safari park.

Nearest Airports: Murcia is 20 mins by car or Alicante is 45 mins by car
Cheap flights are available into either airport. Try Easyjet/Ryanair/Thomsonfly/Flymonarch/Bmibaby/Flybe.
Car hire is available and can be pre-booked. Otherwise, we can arrange airport transfers for you.

Conditions

A £50 per week deposit is required at the time of booking.
The balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.
For holidays booked within 6 weeks of arrival, the full amount will be due.
