Home description

This villa is perfect for both families, as sandy blue flag beaches are only 10 minutes drive away, and for golfers, who have the choice of 3 top quality golf courses within minutes, plus several other courses within a half hour drive. A fantastic climate promises 320 days of sunshine a year, T- shirt weather all year round!

The well-renowned Villamartin plaza is only 3 km and boasts many excellent eating facilities and bars. There are also supermarkets and other shops in nearby Los Dolses and Torrevieja is only 16 kms away, with its large Carrefour hypermarket and Friday market.

There is a sunny garden, mainly laid to patio, with a BBQ and a covered terrace. There is a further spacious open balcony upstairs. The communal swimming pool is just 1 minute walk away, and has a separate shallow section for young children. The pool area is grassed and securely fenced. Please bring your own beach towels.

The Villa is available for LONG LETS as well as HOLIDAY LETS.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The perfect climate for all year round holidays, rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest climates in the world! Winter warmth (averaging 18C) is ideal for Golfers and Holiday Makers. Travel is mainly on quiet motorways.

For those who like to explore, historical cities such as Alicante, Murcia and Cartegena are all only about 50 kms away and have many museums, fascinating architecture, parks and Murcia a stunning cathedral. Fortuna is about 65 km inland and has several thermal pools and treatment centres.

There are many golf courses nearby, including Campoamor, Villamartin, Las Ramblas, La Marquesa/ Rojales,La Finca/Algorfa, Mosa Trajectum, La Manga,Torre Pacheco/Mar Menor, Molina de Segura, Tres Molinos, Trampolin Hills, Polaris World's El Valle, La Torre and La Loma to name but a few! Golf clubs and buggies can be hired.

Lots of great uncrowded sandy beaches nearby including Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Guardamar. These beaches are regularly awarded the Blue Flag guaranteeing you high standards. There are children's play areas, plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars along the beaches. There are also a few secluded rocky alcoves for those who prefer these!

There are many National Parks and Nature Reserves good for walking and bird watching.


Villamartin / Villas Maria II area

GOLF - This is golfers paradise! There are so many courses nearby and an ideal climate for those winter golf holidays. The closest courses are Real Campoamor (www.lomasdecampoamor.com) 6203m Par 72 Green Fees 39-42E, Las Ramblas 5770m Par 72 Green Fees 42E and Villamartin (www.golfvillamartin.com) 6132m Par 72 Green Fees 55E, all only a few minutes drive away. There are many others within half an hour drive.

BEACHES - There are many sandy beaches nearby, many with Blue Flag awards. The closest beach is La Zenia.

In TORREVIEJA there are lots of watersports available from sailing to windsurfing, canoeing to jetskiing, snorkelling and waterskiing; boat trips; the only floating submarine museum and customs boat in Spain to visit in the harbour; an aquapark (and another nearby at Quesada); Go-karting; a Tivoli (funfair); Bowling; Riding; Casino; Cinemas and an abundance of bars and restaurants.

There are many local street markets. San Miguel de Salinas holds theirs on Wednesdays and Torrevieja on Fridays (9am to 2pm). Torrevieja also has a craft market on Saturdays and Sundays.


BENIDORM has many attractions, such as Terra Mitica, the Mediterranean's largest theme park and Mundomar Marine Park and is only an hours drive north.

MAR MENOR, with its salt lake, mud baths, and yes, Golf and La Manga are approx. half an hour south.

Murcia Airport is approx. 25km down the AP7 motorway. Alicante Airport is approx. 50km (also an easy motorway drive along the A7 then AP7). Many cheap flights available from easyjet, thomsonfly, monarch, ryanair, bmibaby and flybe. All the usual car hire companies operate out of the airports but we have found 'solmar' to be very competitive and efficient.

The villa is furnished to a high standard with hot/cold air conditioning installed in every room, meaning a comfortable temperature can be achieved all year round.

The kitchen is very spacious with lots of cupboard space and is well equipped, including crockery and cutlery for 12.

In the living room there is a 3 seater settee and a further 3 seater, which makes into a double sofa bed, plus the usual coffee table and wall units. Satellite TV installed, giving a good choice of 30 English Channels, including sports channels, movies, kids channel, sky etc. A DVD player is provided so you can play your own films/music CDs. There are some DVDs, CD's and Books for your use.

One of the twin bedrooms is downstairs, so suitable for partially disabled or elderly and there is a shower room with toilet and bidet just outside the bedroom.

All 3 bedrooms have the benefit of large double mirror doored wardrobes, and the master bedroom has patio doors opening on to the balcony. There is an additional door on to the balcony from the landing.

A safe has been provided to protect your valuables and security grills have been fitted to all windows and doors for your peace of mind, so you are safe to leave both open for a nice welcome breeze!

If you would like a Welcome Pack this can be provided. A basic pack costs 20E but you can choose the contents at extra cost if this is more convenient for you.

Airport transport can be provided for up to 5 persons plus luggage at additional cost.

LONG TERM LETS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

Baby equipment hire can also be arranged eg. car seat (from airport), cot, high chair, stair gates, toys - all steam cleaned between uses.


Conditions

Booking Fees: A deposit of 25% is required on booking, unless this is less than 6 weeks before your holiday. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival.

Please add 50E for cleaning and laundry charges. This is payable locally.

A refundable charge of 150E will be collected on arrival to cover any accidental damage. This will be refunded within a maximum of 2 weeks of your stay (subject to a satisfactory inspection).

Cancellations: More than 4 weeks notice = loss of deposit
Less than 4 weeks notice = 60% of cost
Less than 2 weeks notice = 80% of cost
Less than 1 weeks notice = 100% of cost
